After cleansing my skin as per the instructions I opened the bottle to a really strong hit of masculine smelling scent. The smell was quite overwhelming which put me off a little as I generally try to stay away from heavily perfumed products. I persevered with the moisturiser and applied it anyway but by this time the smell was quite intense.
It seemed to sink into my skin fairly quickly and didn't leave a greasy residue, ... more

After cleansing my skin as per the instructions I opened the bottle to a really strong hit of masculine smelling scent. The smell was quite overwhelming which put me off a little as I generally try to stay away from heavily perfumed products. I persevered with the moisturiser and applied it anyway but by this time the smell was quite intense.
It seemed to sink into my skin fairly quickly and didn't leave a greasy residue, however, 10 minutes after I applied it my skin was feeling tight and dry again and the overpowering masculine scent was giving me a headache!! In the end I gave up and applied some vitamin E cream over the top to give me skin that boost of moisture I still felt it needed.
The product was fat too over perfumed for my liking and at that price, I would have expected a lot more impressive results than I got. What a dissapointment....I won't be buying this any time in the future.

Advantages: Makes your skin soft, a nice treat Disadvantages: Quite expensive!
I really like this night cream from Clarins. I was lucky enough to get this as a present (because I know it is very expensive at a crazy £39 for 50ml from Boots) I find it quite nice to have a different moisturising cream to put on at night than I use in the day. Quite a lot of high street department stores such as Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis stock this, so it is quite readily available. It is also easy to find it on the internet. It is meant ... ...before you go to bed.
The cream itself is quite runny, almost like a white runny gel. It is really easy to apply and does not irritate or make my skin tingle. It also absorbs in to the skin quite quickly. It makes the skin seem really soft and it is meant to make your skin seem firmer when you wake up. It is also meant to boost the radiance of your skin, promote youthful vitality and protect against free radicals! (Yes, it's a real wonder lotion!) ...

This light lotion is presented in a classy looking purple pump-action bottle holding 50ml of the product.
The lotion is very light weight, white and smells delicious - it's very soothing and sleep inducing. It's absorbed very quickly and does not leave the skin feeling even remotely greasy, unlike many other night lotions or creams. It feels very comfortable on the skin, not heavy or congesting. I also have fairly sensitive and spot-prone skin but, ... ...not aggrevate it.
Because it is in a pump action bottle there is very little waste as you can apply as little or as much as you need. I have found two 'blobs' will do my face, neck and décolleté.
I would suggest if you're going to treat yourself and splash out on an expensive moisturiser, this is definitely something you should consider. A little seems to go a long way so it's probably not all that expensive on a 'per use' basis. ...
