I personally have never used a cleanser or toner before. I've always used soap to clean my face, but have never honestly been happy with how my skin looked. So I decided to be adventurous and try one. But where do you begin? I headed for the Clarins counter, the lady there was extremely helpful in suggesting the correct product for my skin type. My skin is combination, but does tend to have the odd occasional break out of spots/pimples. She directed me to their new product the One Step Cleanser. Its a cleanser and toner in one. As this was new to me I asked her what I thought was a really dumb question - What does a toner do? She answered with it removes any cleanser left behind.

I looked at the product and noted that it was slightly orange in colour, this is due to the orange blossom used, the bottle appears as two different substances - separated ( a bit like some bubble bath you can get with two different colours in one bottle) The product cost £13.50 although you could probably get it cheaper else where e.g. airport.

I took this product home and used it twice daily. You need to shake the bottle and then apply using cotton wool avoiding the eye area. The product left my skin feeling fresh and revitalised. The cleanser does remove make up but obviously because you have to avoid the eye area due to the oil content you would need to purchase a separate eye makeup remover. I noticed a difference in my skin, I had less dry patches plus I noticed the amount of break outs has reduced dramatically to hardly never! The product also smells lovely, it smells of orange blossoms. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do.
