Face masks...as everybody knows give an instant beauty boost to the skin, revitalising the whole area, softening and smoothing contours and replenishing dry or undernourished skin

Inspired by nature, created to enhance your skin's overall beauty by offering the aromatic benefits of essential oils and the beauty treatment properties of plant extracts. Or so it tells me.

My boyfriend kindly bought me this as sort of a little (hinted at) present, as I kept on going on about how much skin needed a much needed treat after all the awful weather we have had.

It cost him £21 for a 50ml tube from our local department store. You may get it cheaper if you shop around. But he is a man so that idea may have slipped his mind...but it doesn't matter as it wasn't my money! It is expensive...well compared to my usual face masks I usually get from Marks and Spencers it is - they are only £1 for 1 and they work like a treat!

The mask comes in a standard white coloured tube with red writing on it...quite boring really.

This rich, creamy mask promotes immediate radiance and a fresher-looking complexion. It is hypoallergenic...perfect for sensitive skin like mine!

The directions of use are stated clearly on the bottle and are as follows:

For a total relaxation facial treat, apply a thin layer of Aromatic Plant Purifying Mask to face and neck, avoiding the eye contour area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off using cool water. Follow with Toning Lotion. Use as often as desired.

I have not used with the toning lotion as I can not find it anywhere at the moment...but I am on the hunt! It makes my skin feel incredibly soft after I have used this and it actually stays soft. I probably don't need to tell you this - but yes - it does work better when you have exfoliated before hand. Otherwise it is just a waste of mask really.

I can not really decribe the smell...it reminds me of summer!
But ingredients include the following which should help with the smell describing -

- Chamomile (Alleviates,Relaxes)
- Grapefruit (Moisturises, Protects, Purifies, Regenerates)
- Peach (Moisturises,Tones)
- Rice (Anti-free radical)

The smells complement each other - none of the individual smells are overpowering.

This plant-based facemask purifies, re-balances and tones the skin to provide optimum moisture for your complexion, while providing protection against any blemishes which the horrid winter weather may bring your way.

I use this mask two or three times a week...it really does make a difference and my skin no longer looks tired and grey.

It is definatly worth investing in and as you only have to use a thin layer the tube usually lasts me around 2 months.
