Advantages: gives a nice glow if applied correctly, and no problem for sensitive skin Disadvantages: lid doesnt stay on, can look patchy if skin is dry
I have been using clarinsradianceplusselftanning moisturising gel for a while now, this is because its the only selftan i have ever used that is good for sensitive skin. I wouldnt say it was very moisturising. I tend to still use my usual moisturiser on top of this product, as my skin goes quite dry if i use clarinsradianceplus on its own. It does give a nice colour,as long as your skin is well moisturised and exfoliated before hand, otherwise it can make your skin look quite patchy and uneven. I have tried other moisturising selftancreams, and they are either no good for sensitive skin, makes your skin look too dark, or appear to give no colour at all, clarinsradianceplus is the best where these are concerned as long as again its applied again, correctly, and you dont need much. The price from Boots was £21.50, the last time ...
Advantages: gives great sun kissed glow but natural Disadvantages: none
I've used this selftan for years on my face in spring/summer instead of foundation.
It just gives a natural healthy glow, and if you then add a tiny bit more on your cheeks, it acts as blusher also.
Then instead of foundation going graesy on your skin in the sun, you just have a natural look. I reapply it about every week.
The tube has lasted several years, down to last squirt now.It may be a bit more expensive than some others but its worth it, especially as I had mine at least 3 years without it deteriorating.
It is subtle but effective and easy to use. I'm off to buy another.
I have tried others in the past, but none as good as this in my opinion. Highly recommended if you want a subtle glow. If you wanted a really dark tan, may be not for you. ...
Advantages: Even coverage. Realistic Colour. Good for pale skin. Nice smell Disadvantages: Pricey
. It starts to develop after about 2 or 3 hours.
Depending on your natural skin tone, you can use the product as often as required. personally I reapply about once every 2 to 3 days. However, if you have darker skin, it could be used daily and in place of a regular moisturiser.
I have never had any streaks or problems with colour around the hairline with this product. It is very natural as well so blending into your neckline as you would a foundation is fine; there is no orange face line!
The smell is pleasant and not overpowering like so many selftanning products- apparently it contains kiwi fruit- although I dont think this is what it smells of.
One last thing, as with any tanning product, make sure you wash your hands well after applying it or you will end up with orange finger nails- not very attractive! ...
