Thank you for your r/r/c. I'm a former air stewardess, now working in the boring Civil Service and still hunting for my dream job! Studying part-time with the Open University for an English and Politics degree.
I go to the Clarins Studio at my local House of Fraser store. There is also one at Debenhams in my town but I have not been there.
I have my nails done once a month. A manicure costs £25 and lasts for 40 minutes. The £25 includes the £5 booking fee. The beauty therapist who does my treatments is very helpful and chatty as are so all the other beauty therapists on the Clarins counter. Eyebrow shapes are £10.50 and I have this painful procedure done every now and again! But the results are worth it! I also treat myself to the occasional facial and these start at £33.
They are open weekdays 9-5.30 (7.30 on Thursdays) and Saturdays 9-6.
When you arrive, you tell the lady on the counter and she looks in the book to confirm and then you sit round the corner just outside the rooms. There are a couple of nice chairs and some recent-ish magazines. My mother sits here for a few minutes when she meets me after my treatments and vice-versa.
The rooms themselves are very pleasant and clean. When you have a facial the beauty therapist plays soothing music in the background.

Advantages: Lasts as long as you want/and or can afford opposed to going to a Health Farm for a days treatment which is more costly. Disadvantages: Can't think of any.
