Advantages: gives a nice glow if applied correctly, and no problem for sensitive skin
Disadvantages: lid doesnt stay on, can look patchy if skin is dry

I have been using clarins radiance plus self tanning moisturising gel for a while now, this is because its the only self tan i have ever used that is good for sensitive skin. I wouldnt say it was very moisturising. I tend to still use my usual moisturiser on top of this product, as my skin goes quite dry if i use clarins radiance plus on its own. It does give a nice colour,as long as your skin is well moisturised and exfoliated before hand, otherwise it can make your skin look quite patchy and uneven. I have tried other moisturising self tan creams, and they are either no good for sensitive skin, makes your skin look too dark, or appear to give no colour at all, clarins radiance plus is the best where these are concerned as long as again its applied again, correctly, and you dont need much. Burn baby Burn

Advantages: Nice packaging
Disadvantages: Doesn't protect the skin, Leaves streaks, Not water resistant

Going on holiday is obviously very exciting and sun protection is key to having a good time. I was running short of time before I went so as I was at my local spa I thought I'd buy some there. The Clarins Sun Body Protection Sun Care Soothing Cream, Progressive Tanning was SPF20 and in a spray container rather than squeezable and was a great handbag size and that's where my praise stops. The liquid was white in colour and took forever to rub in to the skin and then left white streaks all over the body that were extremely stubborn to get rid of. When I got in the pool a lot of little white bobbles formed all over my skin and wouldn't come off until rinsed off with quite a high pressure shower force. The fact that it was suppose to be SPF20 for my delicate fair skin was a good thing, while my friends were using SPF10. However ...

I've used this self tan for years on my face in spring/summer instead of foundation. It just gives a natural healthy glow, and if you then add a tiny bit more on your cheeks, it acts as blusher also. Then instead of foundation going graesy on your skin in the sun, you just have a natural look. I reapply it about every week. The tube has lasted several years, down to last squirt now.It may be a bit more expensive than some others but its worth it, especially as I had mine at least 3 years without it deteriorating. It is subtle but effective and easy to use. I'm off to buy another. I have tried others in the past, but none as good as this in my opinion. Highly recommended if you want a subtle glow. If you wanted a really dark tan, may be not for you. ...
