It is great on your skin after the bath, really rubs in well with no greasy residue. I particularly like putting it on the my legs after shaving if they feel itchy as it is very sooting. My sister got into when she was pregnant to help prevent strech marks. She doesn't have any so whetehr it was the oil or genetic I don't know. It smells absolutely gorgeous, a sort of minty, lemony, herby (no not like a roast chicken) rather than the usual cosmetic floral scent.
I don't like to way it dispenses, though. The opening is about 4mm across and you simply pour the oil into your hands. I set a towel on the bed and nestle the open bottle in the folds to prevent is falling over while I quickly apply the oil before it all runs through my fingers. It's a bit haphazard and you risk getting oil on the floor which is not great if you have a carpet. I think it would be better with a spray or even pump.
On balance, it was a lovely gift but if was going to spend the money myself I would buy a good quality body moisturise instead.
