Clarins Toning Body Balm

...writing, I'm back with another Clarins product... This time it's a toning body balm I'm gonna talk about.

This balm is from the "Aroma Phyto beauty care" range which contains a lot of products with essentials oils.

There are body care and face care, so the "Aroma Phyto beauty care" range is quite large.

The toning body balm comes in an orange plastic tube that contains 200 ml of product and it cost me about 30 EUR.

** Texture **

The composition is very natural, and contains a lot of essentials oils, the ingredients are :
- Apple Seed Oil (Protects, Hydrates, Nourishes)
- Ginseng extract: tones, firms and revitalizes
- Rosewood (Refreshes, Stimulates)
- Geranium
- Ginseng (Stimulates)
- Mint
- Rosemary (Alleviates,De-stresses)

I think it's important to take a look at the ingredients, because lots of products contains parabens which can be bad. I start to llok at the ingredients, and I avoid all the skin care that contains parabens.

The texture is very nice, it's creamy but light, it's white and it's very smooth on the skin.

The smell is lovely, it's very strong, and very tonifying indeed, but I don't thonk everybody likes that that king of smell. I recommand to smell it firts before you buy it.

** Application **

Clarins' method :
- Apply using upward sweeping movements, from ankle to waist, then from hand to shoulder.
- Use morning and/or evening, preferably after the bath or shower.

It's a typical massage technique, and as I was saying, the texture is very smooth which makes the application very easy, and the smell makes it a real pleasure.

Once you apply the cream, the skin absorbes it very quickly, you can dress up immediatly.

** Results **

The smell is nice and the texture is great, but what I really want is a good moisturiser...

The skin is nourished, it's soft and smooth and this sensation lasts all day long, so one application a day is enough.

Plus, the smell as well lasts all day long, which is great because I haven't found a body care that smells like that and lasts as long.

About the toning effect, I didn't notice any changes, my skin is not more firm or revitalized.

"Stimulates the body and spirit for total well-being", well that is not true, even if the smell is tonifying, my spirit is not that stimulated.

** Conclusion **

+ smells gorgeous and lasts hours
- pricey
- the smell can seem too strong
- doesn't really stimulate the body and the spirit
