The cleanser is a water based cleanser made with peach essential water. Clarins explains that this ingredient is obtained through a process of steam distillation producing an ingredient which is full of the beneficial properties of peach. These properties include soothing, softening and conditioning properties.

The cleanser is designed for dry or normal skin.
Instructions are simply to soak a cotton wool pad with the cleanser and gently sweep over the face. It can be used both morning and evening.
The major downside to the product is the cost which is £16.50 for a 200ml bottle.
The cleanser is a clear liquid slightly pink tinted water. It has a lovely fresh peachy smell. Applying it to cotton wool and sweeping it over my face it does leave it cleansed and feeling soft and refreshed. It does as its says remove surface grime however if you are someone who wears lots of foundation then I don’t think this product would be good enough to remove it all or otherwise you would have to repeat the process several times. I don’t find that I need to use a separate toner with this cleanser as it seems to cleanse and tone at the same time. After using it my skin feels nice and clean its nice to use for a change to my usual creamy cleanser which can leave your skin a little bit greasy after using unless you follow with the toner. This cleanser would be great to freshen skin up before you put on your make-up.
I like this cleanser its nice to use and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I do like it however as its quite expensive and not good at removing foundation if I bought it again I would have to buy another cleanser to remove the foundation so it seems a bit of a waste. Its not one I will buy but if Clarins want to give me another free sample I wouldn’t say no!
Advantages: does what it says, last a while Disadvantages: price
...I went over to the Clarins counter and the woman said it would be fine for her to do my make up. I sat down and she talked me through everything and started to ask questions about my skin, doing a skincare test. I was given a few products used on my skin and she recommended I use exfoliator and cleanser as normally I use a face wash and face wipes. My skin has been always normal, it is not oily or not dry which I am quite lucky about, it's just a ... ...she recommended I use the Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser, it seemed like a good product when she used it but to really know the truth I purchased it and took it home to try out for myself. Clarins was founded in 1954 by Jacques Courtin-Clarins who wanted to take beauty seriously, so developed a range of plant-based products which could really help women and their well being. At the start of the 90's the group became Europe's leader in skincare ...
