Advantages: Ease of use Disadvantages: Cost, Loss of sound quality
...I recently bought a used car that had a Clarion 6 disc changer installed. Although the sound quality was inferior to that of a standard in-dash cd player (more tinny / thin) I have found it's performance satisfactory. It is an older model, compared to ones that I have seen recently for sale, meaning that the product lasts. I have since removed it and installed it into my girlfriend's car. It was uninstalled and reinstalled in a matter of minutes! The Clarion name usually means that you will be spending some extra money, but from what I have seen, it performs well! I like it!...

Advantages: Cool display, solid feel, motorized front panel, remote, Sound quality Disadvantages: Stereo imaging not the best, not good with female vocals
...One of the first car amplifiers I ever owned was a small 40 watt CLARION, and I was thoroughly impressed with it. That was 19 years ago, and I've never forgotten the name CLARION since!
CLARION still produce quality gear, and the DXZ748RMP is no exception. I got the clarion for a very reasonable price, and for what I paid the features and quality are far above what you can expect from other brands. Advantages: simple control, good sound, low price Disadvantages: not too much options
...Let me introduce you ClarionDB348RMP car CD player. It is important to notice that someone likes to have a lot of music in his car so the best choice for him is a fine MP3 player. DB348RMP is one of them. Clarion specializes on car audio and they know for sure what is most useful for driver. I can say that it is a simpleness in use and good sound. I had an experience to ride with DB348RMP and i should say that it is very simple to control this radio. Control buttons are located so that you don't need to waste your time searching for track or radiostation everything is visible and gets in a few seconds. Mp3 playback gives you an opportunity to have a lot of your music on one CD and listen it during your trip without changing CDs. 50 watt is quite enough for you and your passengers to "feel" the sound. DB348RMP has a nice panel...
