Ok so as far as ICE is concerned you want something that is able to blast the windows out of the person living 200 miles away without worrying about quality...right?
WRONG!!! what is wrong with you people.
So how about high quality sound reproduction with an excelent volume factor? sound good?
Thought so,
Enter the clarion DXZ648RMP
Just look at it, right away, its got those lovley little chrome bits on the sides with black plastic rubber and grey rubber in the middle. It looks that little bit different. But it is that good.
Setting this up is a doddle, has three RCA setups, 2 outputs 1 input. Meaning 1 sub output (bridge it for multi amps and subs at the amp please) 1 for say rear speaker amp outputs and an input for your dvd player.
This player has CnET which means its designed to work in conjunction with clarion add ons, This radio by itself is capable of supporting DAB digital radio, DVD players, CD Changers, DVD Changers and a whole host of things I dont even know about. All you need is to plug it in with the CnET connection. Excelent dont you think?
The colour changes on this as well, from red to green and yellow anything in between, you can use presets and customise it urself. Sadly it wont do blue.
The display is clear and consice, and perfect considering this plays MP3 files and WMA files as well. In the top half your track info is displayed, bottom mini section, the folder or track along with the time index.
Inside is an easy to use menu with an extremley large amount of options, allowing you to change sound reproduction for your sub and speakers.
In fact it has so many different options that not only have I not found them all yet, but I still find it easy to navigate through the system!
Sound reproduction is beautiful, crystal clear and deep throbbing bass with mid range perfectly balanced.
Its a good unit, and clarions warantee and repair service is faultless. I had previous clarion units and quite simply. I have never been more impressed with their customer service if I had an enquiry or fault.
Oh and face off security with a blinking LED for comfort. Each head unit is unique to its face so noone can steal it!
Go for it
