A completely horrible game
Advantages: Good characters. Disadvantages: Bad everything else.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. The title sounds really good and hearing what it was about, which was about taking control of numerous of your favourite hero characters from the Marvel collection and then battling out with the classic villains. Sounds rather fun, but let me tell you, it’s not. Well at least not from the GBA view, I have not experienced the other versions, but I don’t really want to having experienced this. This is possibly the worst game ... ...The story itself is very dull and boring, it is to do with the masters of evil and plotting explosions, the typical cartoon hero game scenario. However this one hasn’t really been thought about much and comes across as very boring and the cut scenes are bad as well, making you skip them after a while. The narrator / guide is very annoying as well and doesn’t seem to want to let you get on with the game at times. It is very much of a start and stop ...

Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, good!?
Advantages: Easy controlls, menu layed out well Disadvantages: once spotted, go back to the start of level
...speech in the game when Harry casts his spells, eg. Flippendo, etc. In the game whilst walking around, you must avoid the prefects at night or you have to restart the level, a bit of a drag! lol. Meet Ron and Hadgrid etc. they help you along the way. It's quite a challenging game but you know you will complete each level eventually, once you have done the in game puzzles. Particularly the graphics were excellent, as was the sound. I would definitely ...

A Prophecy of Failure
Advantages: Vast number of levels, good longetivity, good sound Disadvantages: Very samey, repetitive, unoriginal.
...world of Lara.
TOMB RAIDER: THE PROPHECY: GRAPHICS AND SOUND
The game itself is called "Tomb Raider:The Prophecy" and sees Lara bursting onto the scene with her trusty pistols to make her way through a vast number of levels on one of her many quests. So where do we start? Well let's start with the first thing you'd actually see...the graphics. The graphics of this game are stunning but not quite flawless. While the graphics create a lovely setting ... ...and effective. TOMB RAIDER: THE PROPHECY: GAMEPLAY AND LENGTH
So what is the game like to play? Well the main problem with Tomb Raider: the Prophecy is that it gets very boring very quickly. Initially it just starts off damned insulting. Everytime you take a step or so, a cut scene shows you exactly where to go and makes what should be the slight challenging parts painfully obvious. Then of course you enter the temple and things hardly improve there. ...

Hamster Style Loving
Advantages: Quite lengthy | Good fun | Original GBA game Disadvantages: Too cute for some | Some puzzles
...the game. Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak is worthy of a glance if you are tired of the SNES ports and sub standard Gameboy Advance games. This one is original and tries, and succeeds, to be that little above its peers. It isn’t perfect and it wont suit everyone’s tastes but for those that do devote time to it you should enjoy.

The Lord Of The Ring
Advantages: An excellent licence, long lasting, simple gameplay Disadvantages: Repetitive gameplay and levels
The Lord of the Ring name has fast become a quick cash-in for many companies just relying on the name to generate sales despite producing dire products, most notably at the end of last year Universal Interactive had the rights for producing a Fellowship of the Ring game for all major formats, unfortunately they used the potentially excellent license to create an extremely poor game which was clearly rushed on to the market to ensure the game wouldn’t ... ...the rights for the Two Towers licence and EA took their chance for yet another big licence. Admittedly I wasn’t overly excited about the prospect of EA produced Lord of the Ring games given their extremely mediocre track record of movie licensed games, but to their credit they really did produce some top quality games with the console version of the Two Towers winning a lot of awards including this years ‘best use of a movie licence’ ...
