Just You Wait 'Til Banjo Tooie!
Advantages: Slighty Updated Graphics/ Bigger Levels/ Lots Of Fun Disadvantages: Slight slow down/ Home to a out-dated console/ Back Tracking
Banjo Kazooie fans after putting their heart and soul in to acquiring every single golden jigsaw piece in 'Banjo Kazooie' were rewarded with a special ending sequence after the completion of the game, and were informed that a sequel, jokingly called 'Banjo Tooie' would released. The wait for this sequel lasted from 1998 until 2001, and many fans of the original were very eager to grab this game for two reasons. One, it was a sequel to 'Banjo Kazooie', ... ...stars of the game are Banjo the yellow shorts and blue rucksack wearing honey bear. His insulting friend, a rare type of breegull named 'Kazooie' resides in Banjo's rucksack, spitting out her sarcastic comments to other less fortunate characters which are littered throughout of the game.
Following on from the original game, in which at the finale the evil green skinned warty witch, Gruntilda, was defeated by Banjo, she fell from atop of her lair ...

Polar Bears on Caterpillar Tracks
Advantages: Novel idea, Good challenging puzzles, good graphics Disadvantages: tedious and annoying at times, dissapointing end of the game
I haven't played this game since I completed it early in 1999. However, it sticks in my mind as a very original idea.
You play the part of a microchip essentially which takes over the bodies of robotic animals when you have killed them. Sounds a little bit sinister, but it's all done in good taste. By taking over these bodies, you get the abilities of the animal while in it's body, this allows you to perform certain tasks, which help you in your ... ...the sounds good aswell. A nifty little trick if you were getting annoyed by the theme music in the are you were in, was to destroy the speakers.
Playability was good, although some parts were very hard to do, and my controller met with the wall at high speed on more than one occasion!
I found the final scene a little tedious, being too much of the same thing, and the final cut scene to reward you completing the game wasn't anything to write home ...

no dont do it
Advantages: none Disadvantages: its rubbish
This game looks like a game designed for 8 year olds, but is in fact very difficult to play. The concept behind the game itself is a load of bull. What is good about pretending to be a glove running around on a changeable ball? In my opinion the producers of this game are either sad or out of touch. It is very strategy based, and so is good for a rainy day, but if you are looking for excitement, look elsewhere. nuy this as a xmas present for somebody ...

Mario 64, evolution in gaming.
Advantages: Nostalgic, great for kids, excellent score, long gameplay and massive worlds. Disadvantages: Some very difficult tasks, camera annoying and music repeated
...the first moment I played Super Mario 64 and an Nintendo 64 which the game is played through I was in awe at the graphics, everything being very colourful and most objects represented using simple shapes and textures. The way Mario 64 is displayed is excellent and works very well with the Nintendo 64's processing abilities. The use of a joystick as a controller for mario 64 also produced a smooth controlled way of controlling mario in his 3 dimensional ... ...great but the gameplay is also, I think it is great that the game managed to incorporate flying, sliding and racing as means to complete tasks and on the topic of tasks the whole game is massive, there a more than a dozen worlds to explore, secret areas hidden in the Princess Toadstools castle which acts as the hub world connecting everywhere else. There are 120 stars to be collected in the game and once you have completed it once you are granted ...
