The biggest game on the Mega Drive
Advantages: Absolutely MASSIVE Disadvantages: Challenging. Sometimes it is hard to tell where to go. Controls slightly glitchy
Rings of power-The best RPG on the genesis Graphics-9/10 The graphics are not good, but not bad considering it's only a genesis game. The sheer size of the world is incredible, and it's in isometric 3-d. The spells look incredible, as do the players and enemies. The ending sequence looks dodgy, but never the less, the graphics are amazing any other time. Also, the characters have pictures when you talk to them. When your people die, or you find a ... ...When you find a ring or key, it shows a picture of a key. Nice and simple. Sounds-8/10 The sounds are ok, you can select which music you have, and the background tunes are brilliant. The sound effects are not very good, but you can turn them off. The battle music is brilliant, and when in a boat it has a really sea-sounding music playing. Some of the music can make you feel quite tense, such as when in a dungeon, or a crypt. Controls-7/10 The controls ...

Underrated and lost in the shadows
Advantages: Very interactive, lots of freedom, long game, and a great atmosphere Disadvantages: Weak graphics, poor sound/music, difficult combat mode, and generally hard
...was a strong fan of Shadowrun and thought maybe to 'borrow' some of the game's ideas for his film. Shadowrun was released a year before the film was released, even more of a coincidence. The entire game engine uses a sandbox third person style mixed in with a role-playing style. Much interactivity can happen for your character, being able to customize weaponry, his personality, abilities, stats etc. The player will even need to choose their preferred ... ...points in most role-playing games, Shadowrun uses karma instead. This is gained from successful missions and killing enemies. This can then be used to upgrade stats to Joshua and is very vital to progress through the game a lot easier. In order to gain money other than from deceased enemies or civilians. The player will need to sign illegal mission contract from clients known anonymously as Mr. Johnson. These can be found in areas such as nightclubs ...

From The Menu And Onto Your Plate-O!
Advantages: Realistic handling, realistic car damage Disadvantages: Basic 2-player, qualifying and race pace differences
...car racing, but I found the difference in qualifying and race pace made the racing not feel real. Despite this, I found TOCA Touring Car Championship to be a fairly challenging game whereby I finished as champion on my first (short) season - though only just by a mere margin! ...

Crazy Taxi Is Craaazy Fun!
Advantages: Excellent, fun game Disadvantages: Can be annoying at times
...would probably hate them altogether! Crazy Taxi is one of the funniest and most enjoyable games that I have ever played and because of that it is different. I certainly would not say it is my usual type because I am more into "point and click" style adventure games. Such as The Curse Of Monkeys Island and Discworld or other games of a similar type (Dreamfall - The Longest Journey for example) I also loved Mario Galaxy but these games are a world ... ...I borrow his Dreamcast with Crazy Taxi. Well, from the first few minutes of it being switched on, I began playing and was already getting back into it. I now remember why I loved the game so much in the first place and why it made such a good impression on me when I first played it. After the first five minutes it was like no time had passed since the very first time I had played it. It took me a good while to get use to using the Dreamcast controller ...

Not Without Polish
Advantages: A simple and fun as well as challenging FPS, boss battles Disadvantages: Jerky, blocky graphics
...and there I was, running away screaming! There are three difficulty skill settings should the going get too tough but no troubles to be had with a straightforward six letter password system. Wolfenstein is as simplistic as an FPS can be, but that's not to say it's the worst. ...
