Surely the leading magazine for those who like 'proper' motor cars. While the likes of CAR, Autocar & Top Gear deal with the new market and the specialist ones delight in pure performance, customisation or are single marques, specials, Classic & Sports Car is the purist's choice. It really does hold something for everyone. There are pre-war Alfa Romeos, Art Deco Rolls Royces, 'woodies', even a steam driven engine more than a century old; There are period group tests, expert advice on maintenance (much of which is of relevance to modern cars) and there is a veritable mine of information from specialists in every concevable discipline from bespoke body fabricators, workshops that deal with only steering racks to upholsteriers and engineering wizards. This magazine provides a riveting read unrestricted by the fashion of the day and can (and is) read again & again. Easily the best motoring publication available in the UK
