The weaver and the foundling.

Advantages: shorter and more accesible than some of her works.
Disadvantages: not as deep or realistic as some works by Eliot.

The Weaver unravelled

Advantages: You will find your reading enriched by this novel and hopefully it will whet your appetite to read more of her works as well as to discover other authors in the same era and writing style
Disadvantages: It is not an easy read if you are not an avid reader, but you will get there if you stick to it
