It claims to have soothing actives, which means this scrub is gentle ... ...the front there is the Clean & Clear logo in blue and white. Then it tells you briefly what the product is and does. It makes the promise that you will get results from day one and you will see fewer blackheads as it lifts away dirt and oil. On the back it gives you more detailed information on the product in white writing.

**PACKAGING**
The scrub comes in a see-through blue tube where you can see the white scrub with small blue balls mixed through it. It is made of soft plastic so you can easily squeeze out the scrub. The lid is dark blue and it clicks open and closed to get the product out. On the front there is the Clean & Clear logo in blue and white. Then it tells you briefly what the product is and does. It makes the promise that you will get results from day one and you will see fewer blackheads as it lifts away dirt and oil. On the back it gives you more detailed information on the product in white writing.
This may be useful if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
**PRODUCT**
The scrub is white with small visible blue micro-beads. It is not overly thick in consistency but when you rub it onto your face it makes up a paste and with further rubbing you will have small blue balls all over your face. The product doesn't have much smell off it and rubs in very easily.
DIRECTIONS OF USE - Wet your face and apply a small amount of the scrub to your face. Then gently massage your face avoiding your eyes. Then rinse off thoroughly making sure you have completely washed it off. It claims to see results on day one once you have used it morning and night.
CAUTION - This is for external use only. Make sure to avoid contact with your eyes, if contact does occur rinse with clean water immediately. Make sure to keep out of reach from children, as it may be harmful if they use it or even ingest it.
**MY EXPERIENCE**
I have used this scrub regularly and find that it doesn't get rid of my stubborn blackheads, it only removes a few of them. It leaves my skin sore and irritated after using it so I find that I can only use it once a day. I don't think that it is overly effective in removing blackheads. I definitely don't see any difference in a day or even in a week. For people who have acne I think it would make it worse if you have sensitive skin as it could irritate it. It's a big no go here from me! I would advise you save your £3.45 and try something else which may be more effective.

Clean & Clear also do another exfoliator, not specifically for blackheads, which is even cheaper, but I don't find that it leaves my skin quite as smooth and it is definitely more drying. When I have the money, I do prefer to buy an exfoliator from the St Ives range, or even better, an exfoliator from the Clinique range - I love the one that makes your skin tingle, but as I usually don't have much money, this brand is ...

Why Did I buy this?**
Well I think the reason is fairly obvious by the product that I am reviewing. After noticing that I started getting some very unattractive blackheads on my nose I decided to give this product a try. It states that I would have fewer blackheads after day one - this definately appealed to me.
Instructions**
The ... ...small amount of the product (about the size of a coin) and apply it to your wet face. You have to gently massage it ensuring that it does not go anywhere near your eyes. You then have to ensure that you thoroughly rinse your skin. - Simple as that. You are supposed to repeat this mornings & evenings.
Packaging **

...top at the bottom. The Clean & clear logo is on the top and then name of product underneath.
It then states that it is" with natural jojoba beads to lift away dirt and oil and help clear blackheads". then you have the johson & johnson name.
I do find the lid can get a bit messy and i need to wipe it off regulary but that might just be me!

It has exfoliating micro beads that are supposed to work ... ...a lot more in the clean and clear range but i have just used the ones that are for this problem.
I do use this a lot and at first used it everyday but even though it did get rid of the blackheads it didn't stop them from coming back, Which it does state that it does, So i use this about twice a week and it has made a difference and they are not as bad as they were. I do feel it is a better option than the nose strips or that metal blackhead clearer ...

...a reasonably priced alternative. Also, Clean & Clear is a well-known brand made by the giant Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical company.
The scrub comes in a blue tube that stands on a purple flip-top cap. The blue is graduated from dark at the top through to a lighter blue at the bottom, where the message "with natural jojoba beads to lift away dirt and oil and help clear blackheads" is displayed. Now, I don't know about you, but whenever I hear ... ...of five, as it does clean your skin and leave skin smooth, but I have deducted stars for being too coarse, leaving a mess and because it also claims that "a special blackhead-fighting ingredient helps to prevent blackheads from forming". I'm not particularly convinced that this is true, as I have seen little difference. I guess you do get what you pay for after all. ...

Can't fault this for the price.
I am middle aged and had to do something with my very open, large pores on my cheeks with clogged pores on my nose. This product was the only thing I tried that worked pretty much from the first few days without drying out my skin.
