It is a daily facial scrub, which will help fight blackheads. It does this by exfoliating micro-beads, which will peel away dead cells to help unclog pores. The ingredients will penetrate pores to try and get ride of impurities like dirt and oil. This all should help beachheads from forming. It claims to have soothing actives, which means this scrub is gentle to use everyday leaving your skin looking clearer of blackheads without irritating or over-drying your face.
**PACKAGING**
The scrub comes in a see-through blue tube where you can see the white scrub with small blue balls mixed through it. It is made of soft plastic so you can easily squeeze out the scrub. The lid is dark blue and it clicks open and closed to get the product out. On the front there is the Clean & Clear logo in blue and white. Then it tells you briefly what the product is and does. It makes the promise that you will get results from day one and you will see fewer blackheads as it lifts away dirt and oil. On the back it gives you more detailed information on the product in white writing.
This may be useful if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
**PRODUCT**
The scrub is white with small visible blue micro-beads. It is not overly thick in consistency but when you rub it onto your face it makes up a paste and with further rubbing you will have small blue balls all over your face. The product doesn't have much smell off it and rubs in very easily.
DIRECTIONS OF USE - Wet your face and apply a small amount of the scrub to your face. Then gently massage your face avoiding your eyes. Then rinse off thoroughly making sure you have completely washed it off. It claims to see results on day one once you have used it morning and night.
CAUTION - This is for external use only. Make sure to avoid contact with your eyes, if contact does occur rinse with clean water immediately. Make sure to keep out of reach from children, as it may be harmful if they use it or even ingest it.
**MY EXPERIENCE**
I have used this scrub regularly and find that it doesn't get rid of my stubborn blackheads, it only removes a few of them. It leaves my skin sore and irritated after using it so I find that I can only use it once a day. I don't think that it is overly effective in removing blackheads. I definitely don't see any difference in a day or even in a week. For people who have acne I think it would make it worse if you have sensitive skin as it could irritate it. It's a big no go here from me! I would advise you save your £3.45 and try something else which may be more effective.
