This product comes in a clear plastic bottle, with a purple flip top lid. On the front of the bottle, is a clear sticker. This sticker gives you the name of the product and the name of the manufactures.
On the back of the bottle, there is another clear sticker. This sticker gives you the directions of use, the purpose for this product and the ingredients.
The bottle holds 200ml of liquid.
The liquid/lotion is of water consistancy and is a bluey/green in colour. It also has a strong, disinfectant like smell to it.
*****************PURPOSE OF PRODUCT******************
This product is a cleansing lotion for the skin on your face and neck. It is designed to remove the dirt and grease that ordinary soap and water can leave behind. It is also for sensative skin.
This products claims that your face will be left feeling and looking cleaner. It clears your pores and then closes them quickly, which stops dirt from getting in them.
******************DIRECTIONS OF USE*******************Soak a cotton wool ball or pad in the lotion.
Wipe the saturated pad over you face and neck.
Repeat until the cotton ball/pad comes away clean.
Use twice daily.
************************SMELL************************The smell to this product is a little on the strong side. It is a disinfectant, surgical smell, that is noticeable from the minute you open the bottle. If you hold the cotton pad to close to your eye, the smell could quite easily bring a tear.
I certainly have noticed a difference in the weeks I have been using this product. The amount of dirt that comes off your face, is quite surprising. I class myself as a clean person, so I was really surprised.

I am really happy with this product for all of the above, and the fact that it does what it states it will. I first thought that it was maybe a little on the pricey side, but it lasts forever. I am now quite happy to pay £2.79 for it. Although I do think I will go to Asda next time.
If you can get over the smell, then this product is for you. It really does leave your skin clean and clear.
I will not be venturing off to try any others, as I have now found something that works and doesn't irritate. If you are looking for something new to try, to clear up your skin, or you just want that fresh clean feeling, then keep your eyes open for this. You will not be dissappointed.

If you have quite a bad patch of spots or maybe even acne I'm not actually sure if this cleanser sorts the spots out even though it is very strong. I'm sure it will probably bring all spots down a bit but not cure them, maybe just make the, less noticeble. (Cream and prescriptions are what you need for this) But for skin like my own, which is quite clear with a couple of small spots ...

I bought a bottle of Clean & Clear for sensitive skin aggggges ago and i still have some left! I decided to buy it when my skin wasnt as spot free as i would have liked it to be and i was really impressed with the results. I have tried both the 'normal' brand (comes in a pink liquid) and the 'sensitive' which i have to say I prefer as I found the 'normal' to be really strong on my skin which I wouldnt really class as sensitive.

The liquid itself is either pink or blue depending on the type of skin you have. Both colour liquids are quite pretty and although they didnt stand out that much on the shelf they are pretty to look at. The information on the back is clear and easy to read.

...was exactly the case wtih Clean and Clear Cleansing lotion. It's not something that has ever appealed to me as I've always thought it was for "problem skin" and I suppose I'm pretty lucky to have pretty good skin, so really didn't think this would be something I would purchase.
A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine stayed over and I found that she'd left a bottle of this stuff on the bathroom windowsill. Being a nosy so and so I had a look at the ... ...face felt really cool and clean and surpisingly didn't feel at all tight or dry, as I had expected. And again, I loved the smell - it was really refreshing.
Not wanting to take advantage, I purchased my own bottle (it was £2.49 from Asda) and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. I really am impressed and find that it takes off my makeup really well too (though admittedly I don't wear a really thick layer, maybe you would need a creamier ...

Before i bought this i actually did look at some of the reviews on here to see if it was good and everyone said it was and now i have it i agree. I use it every morning and leaves my skin feeling lovely and it opens up all my pores, its great!!
I also have the clean & clear moisturiser and the cleansinglotion, use the lotion at night but anyway back to the face wash :)

somewhat though. I have pretty oily skin, and as much as I like the after effects of this product (my face feeling really clean and looking matte after drying), but within a couple of hours (despite using oil control lotion) my face becomes oilier than ever.

This is the most chemically based, and smelling cleanser I've ever used. I bought it as I've previously used Clean and clear's products and found they worked pretty well.
