At the age of 29 I really didn't expect to suddenly find that I had a spot problem. Looking into the mirror I usually find myself searching for wrinkles and was surprised to find spots appearing. This called for drastic action.
I sent my husband out to superdrug to find me something to sort out the problem. He came back with Clean and Clear exfoliating daily wash by Johnson and Johnson. I have been using it morning and night now for a week.
The product is described on the tube as having gentle 'micro-granules' and it is supposed to unclog pores, smooth skin and be anti-bacterial.
The product comes in an easy to squeeze tube and is whitish in colour and has small grains in. It has a delicate smell a bit like delicately perfumed soap.
After wetting my face I tried it for the first time and found it very pleasant. I rubbed a small amount all over my damp face and found that it felt refreshing as the granules rubbed my skin. It was a little difficult to rinse off but after patting my face dry with a towel my face felt softer to the touch and my skin shone.
After using for a week I must admit that my spots are not significantly better. However, I am willing to give it another week before I make my mind up about that. However, my face is much softer, smoother and shiny and my cheeks seem redder, which for me I think looks nice. The blackheads on my nose also seem to be fading which is great news. However, I have found that it does leave me with dry patches in the areas where I have had spots, but this was easily remedied with some moisturising cream.
Overall, I was pleased with the product as it makes my face feel much fresher. I am also not allergic to it which is a bonus with my sensitive skin!
