Advantages: Quite cheap, comparatively Disadvantages: It smells reallllly bad and doesn't even really work
...latest one I tried was clean & clear. It was one of the cheaper ones, so id put off buying it, using the theory that the more expensive ones work better. It was stillquite dear though, as they all seem to be, about £3! It seemed a lot for a little bottle of liquid, but what was the alternative?!
When I opened it for the first time, i had a little trouble trying to flip open the lip. It was quite stiff and I didn't want to be too forceful ... ...spilling it everywhere! After I managed to sucessfully open the bottle withoout it going everywhere, the first thing that hit me was the smell. It was awful. It smelt really anti-septic like and horrible. I had to hold my nose it was so bad. Well I'd got this far and thought i better give it a go and get my moneys worth. I pulled out a cottoon wool pad and squeezed a bit of the starnge blue liquid onto it. It shot oout all over the place and made ... more

I've probably tried just about every possible cleanser there is, some very expensive and some dirt cheap, some for sensitive skin, some for all types, but i haven't found the perfect solution yet.
I haven't got overly sensitive skin, but it's not all that tough either, so i often choose the sensitiv type because it's kinder on skin. I've tried OXY, oxygen, clearasil, boots own, botanics, oil of olay, nivea, you name it, ive tried it! Some fo them smell awful and others arent too bad, but none are exactly nice!

When I opened it for the first time, i had a little trouble trying to flip open the lip. It was quite stiff and I didn't want to be too forceful because it was so full and I was terrified about spilling it everywhere! I pulled out a cottoon wool pad and squeezed a bit of the starnge blue liquid onto it. It shot oout all over the place and made a right mess everywhere, all over my fingers! Yuck.
When I put it on my face it stung a little, which surprised me because it was supposed to be suitable for sensitive skin. The smell was really overpowering and not at all nice, it didnt seem to get much dirt off my face either. I used it for about 2 weeks, twice a day, as instructed, but there wasn't any noticable results. In fact all it did was make my skin sticky. It didnt seem to help at all.
Maybe im beign a bit too quick to judge, but i dont use it anymore. It might work better for different skin types, but i know it wasn't for me.
Clean and Clear is not like normal cleansers. Most cleansers are creamy and white, where as this one is a clear liquid. It is similar to oxy. This particular brand is aimed at people with sensitive skin. So it is designed for people with delicate skin, where normal cleansers are too much. This cleanser removes every trace of make-up, dirt, oil and grease that ordinary soap and water can't. The best thing is you can actually see the dirt on the cotton ... ...makes you feel as though your skin has been throughly cleaned. This product also saves you money on toner, because it contains an astringent, that tightens the pores after use. When I use it makes my skin feel very tingly, and my face feels very tight, but after appling moisuriser my skin feels normal again. I have even noticed a big improvement in my skin condition, now I hardly ever get any spots or blackheads, and it is definitely due to this ...

Advantages: Clear bottle, you get to see exactly what is in the bottle, and the blue ness makes it more appealing. Disadvantages: Harsh on sensitive skin, whereas it is labelled to be especially designed for this consumer group.
...have used products from the Clean and Clear range before, and they impressed me quite abit with their pads and other products. But this one, hasnt had the same effect. I found the cleanser liquid very strong, and it actually stung my skin quite severely. Another thing that didnt impress me was the price of the product. It was £3.99 for a bottle of 200ml, when the prices usually for a good cleanser is about £2.50. The thing that surprised me most ... ...the Johnson and Johnson products to be excellent, especially for problem skin such as my own and for members of my family also. But this product did nothing for my skin, if anything, it made it worse. I ended up with really tight skin which I normally only get as a result of very hard water! ...

Advantages: cuts down on oily skin Disadvantages: can sting a bit if you have any cuts
I've always had sensitive skin and although not prone to lots of spots have always been aware of having to keep my skin under control as I can't use the harsh products that my friends can.
This range works great on my skin and this works especially well. You can see the dirt coming off on the cotton wool which sounds a bit gross but is really reassuring and rather than feeling that I'm putting more rubbish on to my skin like normal clensers I feel ... ...cleaner than usual and not greasy like many other cleansers. I can actually see the differnce when I use this product regularyly as spots become far less frequent. It's also good for removing make up as I dont want to buy a seperate bottle as I dont wear makeup that often but like to make sure its all off when I have worn it.
Its easily avaliable at any pharmacy or store, everywhere seems to stock it from supermarkets to botts and superdrug! It ...
