4 pack Toilet roll. Tuggable Huggable Barcode 5029053018805

Advantages: The product is nice.
Disadvantages: Price is unfair.

Product good. Nice and soft. Price a rip off. Purchased in a small petrol station shop in the west of Ireland. Price was 5.50 euro. Saw it later that day in a larger supermarket for 3.89 euro. What a rip off. In the present economic climate, surely our retailers can give us better value for money. Is there legislation that prevents small retailers from charging these prices or what is the recommended retail price for this item. I will be buying ...

Squeezably Soft!

Advantages: super soft, non irritating to skin, safe for pipes and septic tanks, strong
Disadvantages: not as many varieties and sizes of packages as in the US

...purchased by Proctor and Gamble, Charmin surged into popularity in the US during the 60's and 70's becoming a market leader, thanks to a series of iconic advertisements. These advertisements featured actor Dick Wilson (also well known for his repeat roles in Bewitched as the drunk at the bar Darrin frequents) as the grocery manager Mr. Whipple. Poor Mr. Whipple was always having to ask the ladies to not stand about squeezing the Charmin. He would ...
...the release of the newest Charmin Ultra, which was softer and more absorbent, so fewer sheets were needed, so a new catchphrase was also devised, "With Charmin Ultra ... less is more." More cute woodland animal themes followed in the ads, with little cubs being added and so on. These are the ads we saw here in the UK, as shortly after being introduced to Canada, the ads and the product were both rolled out here to the UK with great success. I have ...

Izal: Old Fashioned Values

Advantages: Evocative of a bygone age. Medicated. Clean smell.
Disadvantages: Comfort level.

...but the experience of the Izal got me thinking "should I have scrunched it or folded it?" Neither seemed to work satisfactorily, and the folding proved a complete disaster. But life in the 40s and 50s seemed a lot happier than today and, if the Izal contributed to this in some way, then I'll keep trying... It's good that Izal is available in both flat-pack and roll forms. It's possible to buy attractive porcelain flat-pack holders on eBay. Overall, ...

Review of Izal Toilet Paper

Roll on the next brand of toilet tissue.

Advantages: Cheap and cheerful. Just about does the job.
Disadvantages: Not very absorbent. Bit rough when used.

Whilst doing my weekly shopping I came across the toiletries aisle, and with my relatively low budget, opted to peruse the cheaper wares. Normally when I buy toilet paper in particular I am not too fussy (the colour matters not as I believe it's all going to the same place anyway). I have to say that it was the stonkingly low price that first attracted me to Asda's very own Smartprice toilet rolls, at 40p for 4 rolls. A bargain you may think, but ...
...of the rolls themselves. The packaging is very basic (plain transparent wrapping with what it is briefly described in Asda's very own style of black and green writing. I won't go into details over my experience of actually using the toilet tissue, but I will say that you can certainly tell the difference between this and higher quality brands in the market. The 2-ply structure of the paper is barely sufficient to be deemed soft, and in terms of its ...

This is literally Crap Paper

Advantages: Might be cheap
Disadvantages: Hurts, hurts...and isn't soft

...have here is the Soft Nouvelle Recycled toilet paper, that must have been considerably cheaper than the rest of the options available to my mother as she bought a pack with 12 rolls in. As my mother is quite miserly at times, and with toilet paper just ending up covered in human made chocolate mouse, it may be fair to assume she's bought some crap paper here (excuse the pun). The first thing we shall look at is the paper as a whole, pre-usage, each ...
...feeling, just bog standard (yes yes I know, the last one was better) tissue paper. It looks and feels quite cheap and was alarmingly each to rip in my hands as an experiment, I'm now however concerned...it may be just that easy to rip during use...an accident no one wants to happen to them. I'd never thought much about it until now, but if the paper goes wrong you could have a host of problems: 1-Poo hands-This problem arises when your hand breaks ...
