Clarins Gentle Peeling
Review of Clarins Gentle Facial Peeling by Nosage

Advantages: Good for sensitive skin, radiant results
Disadvantages: Pricey, small tube, messy sink!

This is a perfect exfoliator for those of us with sensitive skin. The clue is in the title.Unlike other scrubs this is more of a silverypaste. It is quite hard to spread around face as it is a strange texture and goes on to dry skin. I leave it to set for a few moments then buff off. You need to do this over sink as bits of dead skin end up in the basin. Because of the unusual texture you would not think it would be effective at getting rid of dead ...
...just how good it is. The result, radiant glowing skin. I give a quick rinse with water then add moisturiser. I use this twice a week. It is pricey and you only get a small amount - 40ml - but it seems to last around 4 months with consistent use. ... Read review

Lovely Smooth Skin!
Review of Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser by ivytoad

Advantages: Gives a really good clean
Disadvantages: A bit expensive!

...there! I had tried some Clarins products before and liked them so I thought I would give this a go. The cleanser has tiny little exfoliating beads in it to really give your skin a good clean. I absolutely love it. The cleanser didn't dry out my face but instead feels really smooth and clean and my skin didn't feel oily at all. Watch out you don't get any near your eyes (I got an exfoliating bead in my eye and it took all of 10 hours to get out again!) ...
...and it also has the Clarins logo at the top of the tube. It has a white plastic flip-top lid for quick and easy of opening and closing, but this is also unscrewable aswell. As I say, I bought this in the duty free shop, but I have seen it in Boots for £16.50 and I have also seen it in Superdrug too, so it is widely available on the high street. Also, if you search for it on the internet there are also lots of online stores that stock it too. Although ... Read review

Clean & very dried out
Review of Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash by pink_champagne

Advantages: Fairly Cheap, Gets skin clean
Disadvantages: Soapy Smell, left my skin dried out

...only thing they had was Clean & Clear exfoliating daily wash. This is a cleanser which exfoliates as well, and although I didn't particularly want to change cleansers, I decided that this would do until I could get back into town. ~About the product~ The Clean & Clear range is made by Johnson & Johsnon. This wash contains micro-beads which not only remove dirt and oil, but also get rid of the dead skin cells that can block pores, and cause spots ...
...one I have is slightly different to the one pictured above. It comes in a blue squeezy tube which stands on a purple coloured lid. The packaging is quite plain and simple - there's nothing glamorous about it, and it's not one of those things that you can display on the bathroom shelf, but it's what's inside that counts. ~Using it~ The wash is a white in colour and contains lots of small white grains. I was not impressed with the smell of this stuff ... Read review

No longer a vampire
Review of Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash by skatinggirl098

Advantages: clears up blemishes, makes skin more radiant, inexpensive
Disadvantages: none

...IT I was wandering around Boots with my mom, looking for a birthday present for a friend. After we found her present, we decided to have a browse round to look for, well, anything really. We were walking through the skincare section when we came across the Tea Tree and Witch Hazel range. Having spent the previous 10 minutes or so looking at the Clarins and Clinique ranges, we were instantly drawn to favour this range due to the ever so slightly ...
...the low price and the method of dispensing. I had a cleanser a couple of years ago dispensed in the same way (liquid to foam) and loved using it (so much that I can't even remember what it was called!) so I was looking forward to using the same type of cleanser again. USING IT This cleanser was a dream to use! The liquid turns to foam as it is used, which you then spread over your face. I was a bit dubious about the foam texture, I thought it might ... Clinique Anti Blemish Solution - Cleansing Foam.
Review of Clinique Anti Blemish Solution Cleansing Foam by BananaNoodle

Advantages: Clears spots!
Disadvantages: Can make skin feel tight. Expensive.

Having tried Clinique's anti-blemish gel with disapointing results I was a bit reluctant to try their 3 step system for blemished skin. But the shop assistant persuaded me to give it a go. I haven't looked back since! The packaging is a solid affair in Clinique's usual simple style with a big C on the front. The product is dispensed through a pump on the top of the bottle. I only need 2 or 3 squirts of the foam to cover my face, and I only use ...
...use it twice a day but at this price I can't afford that and once a day does me fine. I can't really feel it working when it's on my face, some washes I've used tingle, this doesn't. But when I've used it my face feels clean and smooth. Initially I was horrified - my spots got worse! But having spent about £10-15 on a bottle I perservered. I'm so glad I did. My skin has never looked this good. I found this product doesn't dry my skin too much but ... Read review
