Top Exfoliating Scrub!
Review of Clinique Exfoliating Scrub by coffeebeanie

Advantages: Exfoliates, makes your skin feel clean, fresh and smooth
Disadvantages: None

I offen use clinique for make-up rather than their cleansing products. After I was recomended the scrub by a friend, this was the first cleansing product I had brought in the clinique range. I am extremly happy with the results! Unlike most scrubs, this one is very thick and you only need a 5 pence size to do your whole face! It lasts longer than most scrubs also, so do not be afraid to spend the extra pound or two, it's worth every penny! Also unlike ... Read review

Clarins Foaming Gentle Cleanser
Review of Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser all skin types by catherine.somis

Advantages: delicate smell
Disadvantages: eye irritation, not great compatibility wit all skin types as it suggests

In a nutshell I would consider this as a rather mediocre product. This foaming cleanser does indeed fulfill its promise to effectively provide a soap and water experience. However frequent use can lead to the mild drying out of the skin, which in the absence of appropriate moisturisation can lead to the production of excessive sebum. My skin type is normal with occasional breakouts attributable to lack of sleep and air pollutants; and overall I did ... Read review

Clinique rinse-off Foaming cleanser
Review of Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser by mum2boys82

Advantages: Feels lovely and creamy
Disadvantages: Adds an extra step in your routine

...this free when buying other clinique products and have been using it for about 1 week. I don't think that there is any difference to the quality of my skin, but it does feel lovely to use. You use this before doing steps 1 (soap), 2 (clarifying lotion) and 3 (moisturiser) thus turning the process into 4 steps. You only need to use a very small amount of the product as it foams up when you rub it onto your face and feels really creamy, so a small ...
...if not longer. After using the soap as well your face feels really super clean and fresh. I don't think that I would buy a full size tube of this product as I don't really wear a lot of make up where I think you would get the real benefit of a deep cleaning product. But it is nice to use and I would gladly use more if I got free samples of it again! ... Read review

Lancome Oil - a new way of cleansing
Review of Lancome Huile Clarte Cleansing Oil by Katherine17

Advantages: results, smell, removes all traces of makeup,
Disadvantages: price tag..

...the breakouts.... anyway, this Lancome product was listed as an example of one of these new oil cleanser products so I decided to try it. I knew a Lancome product would be expensive and it was £18.50 for a 200ml bottle from Boots, but I figured paying under £5 for my cleanser hadnt helped my skin much so far so I bought it. My first impresion was how muched I liked the packaging, it was simple and had that 'expensive' look about it. The instuctions ...
...is worth it becasue a little of the oil goes a long way and one bottle lasts for several months, I'm tempted now to buy the Lancome toner and moisturiser as well. But so far my regular Simple moisturiser and toner has worked fine alongside the Lancome Oil. ... Read review

Absolutely Fabulous!
Review of Liz Earle Clean and Polish by niamh1988

Advantages: Great cleanser, good for skin, removes makeup
Disadvantages: Price - but WELL WORTH IT!

...can be found on the Liz Earle website (search google!) and also, I've heard, QVC. The website often does offers which include this and the 2 complimentary products (toner and moisturiser) and usually includes an extra product which can save money. The last amount I paid was around £34 for the three products plus a line smoothing serum. The product is a cleanser, so you apply onto dry skin, massage it into the face and neck. You then use the muslin ...
...I recommend using other LIz Earle products too, such as the toner and moisturiser, and they do seem to compliment the cleanser, although this can turn into quite an expensive regime, and I'm sure the cleanser would work fine on it's own. It tends to last quite a long time, I normally only have to push down the pump dispenser half way each time i use it, and can cleanse my whole face with only that much. The cream being quite thick a little really ... Read review
