Why have boots changed their Traditional Cold Cream? Advantages: No longer has any. It used to be perfect. I would have said it was the best product ever! Disadvantages: Thick, Vaseline Texture, Smells chemically, Does not remove makeup easily. ...My cream is TOTALLY different. Boots are still packaging it the same way and the ingredients listed are even the same, and yet my newest cream is completely different to my old one. The cream inside does not even look the same. My mum's cream is totally pure white and mine is pinky in colour. Why have boots changed it? It's now much thicker, oilier, and much more greasy. It almost has a vaseline texture. Advantages: great cleanser, smells nice, gentle on sensitive skin Disadvantages: quite expensive ...out and can't get to Boots for a day or two so I obviously need this to stay glowing! Promising at first, but too harsh on the skin. Advantages: Good antibacterial properties, seems to ward off the spots. Disadvantages: Really harsh on the skin, aggravates sensitive skins. I'm actually using this at the moment. To start off with, I thought it was working quite well - I suffer from bouts of spots and this seemed to be holding them back. The bottle claims that the Witch Hazel helps to calm and sooth the skin. However, with each day I've been using this (about a week) - my skin has become very aggravated and red. My skin now also feels very tight after each application. Therefore, I am going to stop using this. I would ... ...The bottle also states that it contains alcohol - and I guess this is what has been aggravating my skin. This costs £2.99 for a small 100ml bottle which is, alittle pricey. Since it has had such a bad effect on my skin, I won't really be buying this again, although I am desperate for a good antibacterial cleanser.
