I have sensitive eyes, and as a wearer of contact lenses, I often find that some makeup cleansers can irritate my eyes, especially at the end of the day when my eyes are tired. This cleanser is really smooth and moisturising. It glides on with ease. I tend to wear a lot of concealer and eyeliner, and this manages to get rid of everything. Stripped my skin Advantages: It would probably last around 5-6 months. Disadvantages: Strong smell, irritated and stripped my skin I purchased this product from QVC as part of a kit which also included the cleansing gel and a sample of hydra floral moisturising cream (£35.00 + p&p). I have combination skin with an oily t-zone. It was a couple of years ago when I became ill and saw the affects which this was having on my skin. Thank goodness for qvc. I was able to return this product for a full refund, but unfortunately lost out on my p&p. The matifying lotion (toner) had a strong smell. It said to apply a few drops to a cotton wool pad and wipe over the skin after using the cleansing gel. Oh what soft, clean skin! Advantages: Smells nice, gives a good clean, Disadvantages: None! ...before. I have some other Decleor products which I really like so I decided to give this a go. It is suitable for all skin types. I really like the fact that this cleanser foams up when you use it, it feels like you are really cleaning your skin! This product did not dry out my skin or irritate it and instead made it feel really moisturised and clean. I usually use this in the mornings after I wake up (and to wake me up!) This cleanser is especially ... ...slightly different to the other Decleor products seeing that it is white and not the normal yellow colour, but I still find the design minimalist and attractive. It is to be used within 12 months of being opened. This product is widely available online, a lot of websites stock it. I haven't seen it that much in the high street shops so I think it is still quite a specialist product. Biotherm Biosource Cleansing Milk - Good but not exceptional Advantages: Cleansed and left skin soft Disadvantages: Thisn consistency, can be overly expensive, leave residue. ...read an article regarding the Biotherm Biosource products which suggested they were quite good for adult oily skin as I found the products aimed at teenagers to be too harsh. I bought the cleanising milk, the toner and the moisturiser. This review is regarding the Cleanising milk but I will review the other products where possible. The 250ml lasted 3 months (bearing in mind I do wear quite a lot of base make-up). I bought it from duty free for ... ...well I do not think it would be worth paying too much more for it. The consistency is quite thin and it can be tricky to apply as it does tend to run between fingers. It also require a couple of applications and wash offs to remove an evening's make up which can be quite annoying when you just want to go to bed! Six times the price of other brands but not as good... Advantages: gets skin clean and soft, suitable for all skin types Disadvantages: smells awful, doesn't take off eye makeup, way too expesnive I received a tube of Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Purifying Cream Cleanser a while ago as part of a gift set. I don't think it's a product I would have chosen to purchase myself as I've found two really good cleansers - L'Oreal Re-Nourish and No.7 Soft and Soothed - which really suit my skin and don't cost the earth. The cleanser is from the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide range. I didn't realise that this was a range of anti-ageing products until I did an ... ...review. Apparently this has been developed with 'Advanced Anti-Ageing technology' whatever that is.
