I offen use clinique for make-up rather than their cleansing products. After I was recomended the scrub by a friend, this was the first cleansing product I had brought in the clinique range. ...other pre shave scrubs, the Clinique version is very thick in consistency and feels almost like wet sand when rubbed between the fingertips. It is not slippery at all, in fact it is very dry to the touch, allowing excellent control both in terms of dispensing from the tube and when applying it to the face. When i first used this product my skin felt soft and refreshed. With its natural ingridients such as tea tree oil, which is natural and will not harm your skin. I have been using Gatineau for 2 years now and could not live without it. (I even have travel sizes for when I am away) I mainly use the Melotagenie which is for "older" women. Cleanser and toner: silky to the skin. I sometimes put the cleanser onto a cotton wool pad to make it go further. You can actually see the dirt (yuk).
