It's a gentle liquid that you wipe over your face using cotton wool to remove any last traces of cleanser, dirt or make-up after cleansing. ...and soft. It does cleanse the skin, but i wouldn't recommend substituting it for cleanser as i don't think that it is strong enough - especially if you were wearing heavy make-up. Disadvantages: Removes only what's on the surface - another cleanser needed for a deeper clean. Leaves a residue.
