my body is a temple
Advantages: natural, no sodium laureth sulphate, yummy ingredients and aromas, post-consumer recyclable packaging Disadvantages: occasionally hard to locate
Aveda products may be expensive but it's a fact that they do last longer- especially the shampoos. They're rich so you do not have to use as much. The range is extremely diverse so it's good to make sure the product you pick meets your needs. Aveda carries the Ayurvedic philosophy and promotes a lifestyle of wellbeing and harmony- I enjoy going to the stores and receiving complimentary stress reliefs.
I would definitely recommend the haircare, I ... ...it loses its health. The aveda hair dye (salon only unfortunately) and shampoos have made a real difference to restoring its fullness and life. The range is unisex which most people do not realise and I've even managed to get my hubby hooked. My fav hair products are Shampure, Colour Conserve and the paddle brush. Another bonus is that if you like a particular shampoo/conditioner you can invest in a litre size which has a pump- I find they easily ...

Botanics Face Sensitive Cleansing Wipes : Gentle and Effective
Advantages: Easy to use, Gentle but effective cleansing, Easy to carry when travelling. Disadvantages: None.
...number of items in the Boots Botanics Range. They have not all suited my skin but I have been left with the impression that the products are of good quality. I decided to give the Face Sensitive Cleansing Wipes a try. I liked the sound of “sensitive” and as with other products in this range the plant extracts used have established reputations for skin enhancing properties. The two active botanics in this facial cleanser are Sweet Gale and Marshmallow. ... ...Myrtle. Understandable, then, that Boots opted for the rather more romantic sounding alternative!) The packet labelling explains that Sweet Gale “purifies”. This is no mere bluff. The antibacterial properties of this plant have long been known to herbalists. Marshmallow, or Althaea Officianalis is known as an anti-inflammatory and can assist in keeping skin moisturised. Little surprise then that Boots describe it as being able to “soothe and calm”. ...

Best Bud
Advantages: quality cotton buds Disadvantages: cost a lot more
One of the well known brand that parents trust is "Johnson's" who offered variety of product that is specifically made for babies and children. I love their baby products from shampoo, oil, wipes, soaps and moisturizing creams which I normally used few years ago. But even if I'm not using them regularly I still have one lovely product that I always have around which is their" cotton buds ". When it comes to cleaning ears, Johnsons cotton buds is ... ...the 200 Johnsons cotton buds/ tub from tesco for £1.42 (offer 2 for £2 valid until 1/12/09)
Asda £1.40
They probably the cheapest price unless you can grab one at poundland.
PRODUCT
Johnsons cotton buds has a nice clean looking tub with Johnsons labelling written on a blue font. The buds are in blue sticks, with a cotton at each end which are quite thick and firm. It's made of 100% pure cotton. The one I bought has 200 buds per containers which ...

Wipe Away All Those Bottles
Advantages: Effective and lovely to use Disadvantages: Quite pricey
...summer I ended up with Nivea Visage refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes. I had read reviews of the soft wipes which sounded ok but I have a tendency to slightly greasy skin and I thought they may be too gentle so I was pleased to see this addition to the range. These claim to have a "new fresh formula" and are aimed at normal to combination skin. The fact that these packs were on offer at half price was probably the deciding factor in making me choose ... ...in the standard pale blue Nivea colours. There are 25 wipes in each pack. They are supposed to cleanse, tone and invigorate in one easy step and will remove make-up and waterproof mascara. The directions tell you to use daily and follow with your usual moisturiser (obviously they suggest Nivea ones!). All the ingredients are listed on the reverse. They are alcohol-free but there are lots of potential allergens in the list so if your skin is very ...

Seriously some of the best skincare that money can buy
Advantages: really really works and bottles last an awful long time Disadvantages: PRICE!! best used as a regime then single products on their own
The Dermalogica story begins in 1986 when UK trained Jane Wurwand opened a training centre for would-be beauticians and estheticians.. known simple as the International Dermal Insitute. Now IDI is considered one of the world best institute in this field and most beauty schools around the world both use and teach the dermalogica method. If you want professional skincare this is the brand you should really trust - as have many celebrities such as Halle ... ...was the reason I chose Dermalogica as I was simultaneously suffering oily, acneic skin as well skin tht was very very sensative and prone to the occasional bouts of exzema... after so many reccomendations both from friends and professionals alike I booked myself in for one of their prescriotive facials otherwise known as "face mapping" and I was told a range of products that would suit me. Unlike some brands that have set oily/combo or dry/sensative ...
