Oy Diaz!! Cope a faceful of these!!
Review of Clearasil Complete Pore Purifying Wipes by Emma1973

Advantages: Works for some
Disadvantages: Expensive when not on offer, doesnt work for me!

...at £2.49 drew me to Clearasil Complete Pure Purifying Wipes. Of course that also made it sound super effective. They do declare to 'gently cleanse away oil, dirt and make up, unclog pores and remove bacteria' They apparently leave the skin shine free and they're suitable for sensitive skins. The smell is quite innocuous, it reminds me of wet clay, strange I know, the smell is also quite mild. You get a nice big square, certainly big enough to cover ...
...like some more your wet wipe kind of thing, but they do dry out really quickly, so hastily use and cover up the packet. Of course, rather moaningly I do have to say that the packet top doesn’t fold over completely so you end up with a dry end! Now the practical test, I have nearly full make up on, so we'll see just how much of that it removes. Well, its ok, maybe 5 out of 10 but that with me having to scrub a bit, perhaps they would be more suitable ... Read review

Cheap as tissues
Review of Tesco Value Facial Tissues by JohnCheese

Advantages: Cheap, there are loads of them inside
Disadvantages: They cut trees to make them, not the softest ones

Since recently Tesco Value Tissues became household item in our house. We were using either brand name ones or unbranded but better quality ones. Our younger son is a fussy eater and we spend a lot of tissues in perpetual struggle to put an extra spoon in his mouth. We have realised that Tesco Value Tissues are good enough for the purpose. He is not complaining (not that he can talk yet). It might be the 'second child syndrome' where you realise ...
...the darkest mystery of bizarre Tesco world for me. How is it possible that something which has 150 pcs in the box (box size is not so small) costs only 27p. There are 150 pcs of paper inside. Someone or some machine had to lay down that paper in the box. That box has certain volume and bears some transport costs. Some poor guy had to put it on the shelf. I know that it has something to do with the huge turnovers Tesco is doing etc. But still, my ... Read review

Dermalogica is fantastic!!!
Review of Dermalogica Skincare Range by Loobylulu

Advantages: Only skin care product I've used that actually WORKS!
Disadvantages: Price but you really get what you pay for!

...and nose. After reading Dermalogica reviews online I decided to buy Daily Microfoilant as many people said it was useful at removing blackheads. I was impressed at the gentle action of this exfoliater. I could use it daily and it left my skin feeling smooth and clean. The gentle exfoliating action also helped to slough off any scabs I had on my chin as a result of picking my spots. I also noticed an improvements vis a ve blackheads! I decided to ...
...to treat myself to a dermalogica facial as recommended by the company on their website. It was absolute heaven!!! The lady who did my facial was very sweet and gentle. The treatment included: a thorough cleanse, my face was then steamed and product applied to loosen my pores- then the painful part!- blackhead squeezing (arrgh but it was worth the pain!) then a nice relaxing face and shoulder massage. Other products and a face mask was applied, then ... Read review

Bad Blow for Tesco Value Facial Tissues
Review of Tesco Value Facial Tissues by newby2

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Nasty

Tesco Value Tissues......... These Tesco Value Tissues were just one of the Tesco Value Range I decided to try out on my recent budget-shopping trip and I really think I should not have bothered. They come in at a little over the 50 pence margin, which is considerably cheaper than the rivals in this product such as Kleenex whose single boxes often sell for bordering on the £1.50 pence price range. However, even though the Tesco Value tissues are ...
...The tissues from the Tesco value range box are a lot trickier to get out of the box compared to the Kleenex ones. They often will come out only one at a time which is good, but the tissue that is next in line to be used will always be stuck in the box and not be poking up ready to use. Therefore, I found I had to get my hand in the box and try to coax the next tissue out which I found rather annoying. The feel of the tissues is another big factor ... Read review

The worst wipes I know
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes by lillamarta

Advantages: Handy, no need for separate pads, toner or cleanser
Disadvantages: Not hydrating enough, struggles with makeup, sticky, irritates skin

...After having been using the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner and been happy with it, I decided to try another product from the Vitamin E range. The reason I decided to buy the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wipes is that I can use it as a makeup remover or cleanser without the need to have cotton pads and a bottle of cleanser at hand and also save on having to use a second bottle, the toner afterwards with a second cotton pad. An ideal thing when you travel or ...
...that have hole to lift the wipe out and peel the security seal back so the wipes don't dry out. The Vitamin E Wipes have the same pale pink colour as of the entire Vitamin E range from The Body Shop. What it claims it does This is what appears on the front of the packaging: "One-step cleansing and toning to remove makeup, impurities and dull skin cells. (...)" On the back it says: "(...) wipes that cleanse, tone, and moisturise and protect ... Read review
