Philosophy was created in America by the american medical skincare company Biomedic! The range claims to be cutting edge skincare and no fuss!! I stumbled across the range in Space Nk and at first was abit worried about spending that kind of money on facial care and bodycare! But I was in desperation and my skin just simply sucked!! I can say I dont tend to bother with the makeup side of things but I have tried some of the bodycare and think is is superb I am currently using the Baby Grace shower gel which is a real treat and not an every day thing ( Unless your rich!!!!) ...summer I ended up with Nivea Visage refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes. I had read reviews of the soft wipes which sounded ok but I have a tendency to slightly greasy skin and I thought they may be too gentle so I was pleased to see this addition to the range. These claim to have a "new fresh formula" and are aimed at normal to combination skin. The fact that these packs were on offer at half price was probably the deciding factor in making me choose ... ...in the standard pale blue Nivea colours. There are 25 wipes in each pack. They are supposed to cleanse, tone and invigorate in one easy step and will remove make-up and waterproof mascara. face cleansing in a packet...what could be simpler!!! They are great if you get in late and can't be bothered with the usual face wash regime. But i have found that they do not remove all traces of make up ie waterproof mascara!!! The are gentle on my sensitive skin which is a bonus...I dont end up all red faced. The have no smell that I can detect and they also leave my skin felling really soft so I have found myself usuing less moisturizer. I always ... ...of my lazy nights and one in a travel bag. Thats another plus, when travelling you dont have to worry about a face wash leaking all over the clothes!
Only one word of warning...always make sure the sticky seal is closed properly and dont store them anywhere too warm ( like on a dressing table that gets the sun during the day) as they can tend to dry out. The cloth itself is really thick and soft so you dont end up with your fingers poking through ...
