I used to suffer with spots quite badly, even into my twenties, and I used to try all sorts to clear up my skin. It wasn't major acne but the odd spot here and there, except I don't remember ever having a clear face (I sure I wasn't born with spots though but I really don't remember that far back). I had seen Clearasil advertised many times but just thought it would never work. A few months ago though I was desperate to do something so I actively sort out the skin care aisle while out shopping and spotted Clearasil Complete daily face wash 3 in 1 so I decided to give it a go. I was amazed at the results as within a few days my skin became much clearer. I continued using it and was lucky to go for a long time without a single spot appearing. I soon realised a huge drawback with Clearasil and I am sure I am not imagining it, but for some reason I hadn't used it for a few days (probably due to the fact that I hadn't had a spot for ages) and the next thing I knew, I was breaking out in spots all over my face. I don't think it is possible for Clearasil to bring about spots if you discontinue use but that's certainly what it looked like. I started using the face wash again and they soon disappeared but now I am a little worried about not using it.
Overall, I am very impressed with the product's ability to get rid of spots but am sure that extended disuse can bring about more spots. Of course that is mere speculation and may not be the case.
Clearasil Complete daily face wash 3 in 1 comes in a 150 ml pump. The product states that it has a unique deep cleansing formula which clears pores and cleans skin immediately whilst it's antibacterial agent keeps working even after rinsing.
For best results using this product it is suggested that you use it twice a day (I do once in the morning and once at night). You simply wash it on and rinse it off.
There is also a Clearasil Complete Sensitive daily face wash 3 in 1 for sensitive skin. Some people may find that the original can irritate delicate skin and therefore this version is much gentler whilst still working effectively.
I usually buy this product in my local Asda where the price is £2.78. I have also seen this available in Boots and Superdrug, however it is more expensive at around £3.00 to £4.00.
