Thinking it was just due to the cold weather I continued using clearasil for another week. At the end of the second week I knew something was not right. My skin was terribly dehydrated and my forehead had become flaky. I stopped using it immediatly, moisturised my skin constantly and yet I still saw no imrpovment. Eventually I went to the doctors and was told that clearasil was the cluprit. I now have been perscribed a apecial intensive moisturiser and my skin is finally begining to get back to normal. If you choose to use this product range please be careful and stop as soon as you notice any signs of your skin drying out.
Advantages: It leaves your skin clean, fresh and not at all dry Disadvantages: Works out a bit expensive for everyday use

My 18 year old daughter has also been using this for quite a while now and wouldn't use anything else because it copes with her occasional spots too. ...changed since I have found Clearasil Lotion, no they haven't disappeared yet but they are decreasing. Especially since last year I only showered every two months. This meant I got teased so I started to wash and use spo creams. I found nothing until one day walking through the aisles a fat woman dropped a bottle, I picked it up for her and saw it was a spot cream, so I bought it and luckily for me it was Clearasil Lotion. Clearasil lotion is quite expensive and comes in 150 ml plastic bottles. It is a blue lotion which smells nice and clean but leaves face very dry if over used. It dosnt get rid of spots it prevents them which is what some people don't understand. So if you have spots and you use it it will really sting. I think the basic ingrediant is alcohol so it might just be worth buying some posh aftershave instead. Its horrible if you get it on your lips and ...

...and via media I used Clearasil to cleanse my skin. It's a blue kind of substance, very awkward colour, almost fluorescent and when you put it on it's like: just water. I don't know how to explain this, but if you have acne and you're using an anti-acne-lotion, it should usually disinfect and thát you wíll feel. Just imagine applying alcohol to a wound, well that feeling in a lighter version should be felt when applying such a lotion for such a type ... ...within with visible results on the short and the long term. Too much to ask for? I don't think so, in fact, it's what Clearasil commercials pretend to offer you with this product, so the manufacturer himself believes it is possible. Now he should only make it come true...for real! ...

I, for one, must admit to having suffered from acne and spots as a youngster and through to my early twenties. However, I found that there was comfort to be had with this product. The solution contains rather a large proportion of alcohol and as such serves to dehydrate the skin due to the polarising power of the alcohol molecules to water. As a result, the skin can often be left uncomfortable and tender, and so I would strongly advise against overuse. ...

I use to have an oily skin and bad acne which make me feel really sick at times but I never found something useful which really works out for me and doesn't do any damage on myskin. I tried some other skin treatment products, but got some sort of issue with most of them like, high price, availability and some which doesn't work. I have almost lost all hopes to keep my face clean with all the dirt out there.

Acne has been a problem for me since i turned into a teenager , I am now 22 so you can imagine I have tried and tested a large range of products. I have tried other products from the clearislil range whcih i have found have made a diffrence for the first few uses and then the skin seems to become used to it and they no longer proved any use. I first tried the Clearasil Medicated Lotion Sensitive Daily Cleansing product for the first time about three weeks ago and it worked wonders but the best thing it it still seems to be making a diffrence to me skin which is a first . You can really feel this product working which is a plus to me but may be a bad thing for others as if you have bad acne it may sting a bit, overall great product 9/10 ...
Advantages: Good for oil prone skin Disadvantages: Can lead to dry areas in some cases
I found that this lotion dried my skin out from some areas. It would be more suitable for those with oily skin which is prone to spots. I would also advise you to apply some light lotion (eg. E45 Lotion) on top of this product to prevent any dryness. - Making sure that its the lotion not the cream, as that is much heavier. On the other hand,m it could be applied to those areas which are oily, for example the T-Zone.
Using a light lotion will ensure that the spot fighting treatment isn't affected, and provide a coat of moisture.
Personally, it didn't do much for my skin where spots were concerned, but got rid of the oilyness. It would be a good product to use under foundation, for those who find that their skin starts to get oily after a few hours of wearing it. ...
