Clearasil Stay Clear Deep Cleansing Wipes

When it comes to my skin care routine I am usually really good, I am happy to spend the time washing my skin followed by a strict cleanse, tone and moisturise routine, that said I do sometimes get home if I have been put for an evening and the last thing on my mind is going through the process but rather than do nothing I keep a pack of cleansing wipes in the bathroom cupboard so at least I am doing something. I do not like using these all the time as I just don’t get the same effect as a deep cleanse but they are good to at least get those few layers of makeup off before bedtime! The ones that I am using at the moment are the Clearasil Stay Clear Cleansing Wipes.

I picked these wipes up not just because they were quite low in price but because they were sounded just what I was after. The Clearasil brand has been around for many years now and I always used to use their face wash during my teenage years and found it effective. There are 25 wipes per pack and on average the pack will cost you around the £3.99 mark, it is sometimes a brand that is on offer but usually combined when you buy another product from the brand. I appreciate this is not the cheapest on the market but I think they are a good quality and it does take me a while to get through the pack.

The wipes come in a packet that has a reseal able opening on the front, this is great and I never had any problems with it sticking again, you need this to stop the other wipes from drying out. The packaging is in the usual Clearasil colours of white and blue and the Clearasil logo being sat firmly in the centre, on the reverse of the packaging is a list of ingredients and directions for use, the wipes are really easy to use and I find that they are really effective.

When I first went to take a wipe out of the packet I noticed that it was round about the size of my face and it was quite thick and so felt of good quality, it was moist but not dripping in liquid, there was a scent but this was only quite light and although quite difficult to describe I would say that it was more chemical like than a perfume, it came back to me using thee wipes of the scent I was used to as a teenager! The wipes have a good tough feel to them so I have never experienced any sort of tear or rip whilst cleansing.

The main reason for me buying these wipes is that if I don’t take my make up off I get a terrible breakout of spots and whilst these wipes are not the best answer and my usually routine would be the best, they are better than nothing and I do notice that when I have at least swilled my face of with water, these cleansing wipes do tackle the remaining dirt and also stop my skin form these blackhead or really quite sore spots.

As I mentioned above, the wipes are not something I use every day but I do find them to be effective and I like that they are good strong wipes and remove those final traces of make up after a splash of water! Whilst they are not make up removing wipes by nature I find that they are the best wipes for me to stop my skin form suffering.
