...Very girly and pretty. it is quite heavy and therefore is not that practical when carrying to lectures or work. Very quick, sat memory which slows computer down when too much is being stored e.g games. Useful for connecting to internet, can be used anywhere.
Cheaper than most for spec that product offers and silver colour was probably what appealed to me most. Could be improved which will happen when upgraded. I would recommend if potential user will get full use from the system. Even though they look great, only purchase a laptop if you need to use away from home. The expense and power compared to a system is huge and only purchase if totally neccessary!! good quality system a...

Advantages: Value for Money, Speed, Power, Design Disadvantages: Cant think of any at the moment
...Good Points
With the Intel Pentium 1.7ghz (M) version, the Dell Inspiron 1300 is a powerful, nice system laptop. It looks nice, although it's not actually the best looking laptop, but who needs looks. The keyboard doesn't look like it's going to wear away, and it looks strong, and the mouse pad is really nice.
Bad Points
I can't really say there are any bad points with this system. It's really cheap on the Dell web site, and you can pick up a decent packed Inspiron 1300 for about £479. It is an excellent value laptop! The 60Gb version is a must for storing loads of photos and films etc. Host of extras included for silly money - more commonly found on more expensive machines.
General Comments
The look of the Dell Inspiron 1300 is a mix of silver and black. The lid is an entirely silver-grey color, while the rest of the body is black...

Advantages: Keeps your CPU cool as ICE Disadvantages: Expensive, difficult to fit for a newbie
...Heat sinks for those of you who don't know use air flow and heat conduction to take heat away from the CPU in the PC to prevent it overheating.
Basic specs:
The Alaska Silver Mountain is a silver plated copper heatsink designed for Socket A Athlon CPU's. I bought mine because of a recommendation from a fellow techy who believed it was the best Heat Sink he'd ever worked with.
Basic specs:
Supports AMD Athlon XP 3200+; Pure Copper Heatsink with Silver Plating; Sanyo Denki Ball Bearing Fan; Fan Rated Speed 4, 600 R.P.M.; Fan Air Flow 23 CFM; Fan Noise 33 dB(A); DIM 72 X 60 X 65 mm.
I got mine for £25 which is steep when £7 can buy an adequate heat sink. I don't really know what made me pay that much as I wasn't interested in clocking up the CPU I had (which requires a good heat sink).
The heat sink kept my CPU XP1900 below 30c...

I occasionally use this product to keep my hair from looking brassy or yellow. It works very well to keep your hair light, but as a result I find that I can only use this product around once or twice a month tops, otherwise my hair will take on a grey or more
