I used this book for both my anatomy special study modules on head and neck and upper and lower limbs at University and it proved to be very helpful. It has pretty much everything you need to know for anatomy. The description can be a little long winded but provides good detail. The book is generally well organised and easy to follow. However, the diagrams can be a little confusing at times but the good description often compensates for it. This book links up the gross anatomy with clinical conditions that may affect the parts of the body quite well to help students gain a more holistic understanding of the topic. I particularly like the last chapter of the book which is a summary of cranial nerves. It was really comprehensive and including descriptions of clinical conditions associated with the cranial nerves. I would recommend this to all medical students, it is a good supplement to any basic anatomy textbook as it goes into more depth and detail. Its not a cheap book but you would not regret buying it!
