Boots keep a hold of your profile, so when I went into Boots in Edinburgh, gave them my details they brought up my profile, and tried to harrass me into buying armloads of stuff.
Anyway I'm getting off the point here. The thing about Clinique is that they are keen to give you free things, which they call Bonus Time. Normally how it works is if you buy 2 items then you can get a current freebie, so I normally wait and buy my things 2 at a time, because free is always good - right?
In the freebie pack I got 7 trial sized products and the 7 day scrub was in it.
The tube I got was 30ml, and the normal sized 1 is 100ml. Last I knew the full sized tube cost £15, which is about avarage price for Clinique.
All the Clinique packaging is a light green colour with a silver C and what the item is is written below in either silver or dark green. On the back the directions is written normally in a few different languages.
The only directions for this product was to massage onto make up free skin and wash off. So do i use this every day? twice a day? Not sure. Since the title is 7 day, then I assue I use it for 7 days, but them what? Do I use it for a 7 day period once a month? Not too sure.
This is an exfoliating scrub. It is a thick white cream and has loads of gritty bits in it. it doesn't smell that great - a bit like cement, and it looks a bit like cement as well! You don't need too much to cover your face and it washes off easily.
I used this every night and the small tube lasted me 10 days. t softened my face and I think it was a good product, but i'm not sure if I would be happy to pay that price for it, as I normally use the Body Shop face scrub and that costs about £6 for a 150ml tube.
It is a good luxury product, and I would use this for a treat, but wished it was a bit cheaper.

Review of Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula
Advantages: Moisturises and exfoliates Disadvantages: quite expensive
...since I started using the clinique three-step (soap/cleanser/moisturiser) became concious that I wasn't exfoliating my face properly.
I got a free sample of teh 7 day scrub cream, and I assume (although I can't be sure!) that you are supposed to use it once a week as part of your skin-care routine. That's what I do anyway!
I normally use it in the shower, so my face is already wet through, and squeeze a small amount of the product onto my hand. ... ...look like it was going to be able to exfoliate very well, as it wasn't 'lumpy' it appeared more like a cream.
The micro-beads are so tiny that you can only feel them, but not see them. It is quite creamy, and moisturising, and doesn't really smell of anything. It doesn't dry skin as much as some exfoliating scrubs do, and seems to moisturise it instead. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but think this would be ok if you did have.
I rub ...
