Advantages: Really covers dark patches/blemishes Disadvantages: Have to rub quite hard to get it to blend in

The shades that I found it to come in are 01 Fair, 02 Medium and 04 Neutral Fair. This means that you can get a shade which will fit with your own skin colour. Once you have taken off the lid, there is a small brush which is attached to the main section of the pen. The top of the pen rotates round in small clicks, which pushes the concealer down the middle of the pen and onto the brush. This is really easy and simple to use but be warned that if you click it too much and excess concealer comes on the brush, it is not possible to put it back inside the pen to re-use, you will either have to wear a lot of concealer or waste the excess!
The pen has silver writing on it reading 'Clinique airbrush concealer illuminates, perfects' and a list of ingredients on the other side of it.
The thing I found about this concealer pen was that once you applied it to the specified areas, you had to rub quite hard in order to blend it into your skin. It is not enough to just apply the concealer with the brush, you also have to use your finger to rub it in. I found myself rubbing my face quite hard to try to get to blend since the concealer is quite thick, but once it had blended it gave a wonderful result.
I think the concealer pen is meant to come in four different shades since they have pen numbers ranging from 01 to 04, but no matter how many websites I look on I can't find the shade for number 03 (even on the Clinique home page!) The shades that I found it to come in are 01 Fair, 02 Medium and 04 Neutral Fair. This means that you can get a shade which will fit with your own skin colour. I personally have the 'Neutral Fair' shade and think that it really blends in well with my natural skin colour. You really can't tell that I am wearing concealer when I have it on.
I think that it really hides blemishes and dark patches really well. It is very good for under the eyes when you have early mornings! I really find that it lasts all day too, if I apply it in the morning I don't have to re-apply at all through out the day. At night time it is easily washed off or removed with a face wipe.
The pen comes in a 1.5ml size.. but don't be fooled! This lasts for absolutely ages. The length of the pen is actually 13cm long, the liquid is filled in the inside of it. When you first get the pen, you have to click the top of it quite a few times until the liquid starts flowing through it onto the brush, but once it has done it will stay there and you will only need a couple of clicks to top up the liquid that is already on the brush.
The concealer pen is to be used within 24 months of it being opened and if you use it regularly this should not be a problem at all.
The pen costs £15 and is available from Boots and other department stores such as Debenhams and John Lewis, it is also available from the Clinique website.
I really liked how easy this concealer pen was to use. I like the fact that the concealer goes straight on to the brush and you can just brush it onto your face. Since the brush is quite small you can really get it on the specified area, which if you were using liquid concealer would be quite hard to do. You do have to blend it in with your finger after you have applied it to your face, but I have found this with other concealer pens that I have used too, so I think this is normal. The concealer blended into my skin really nicely and really does cover up all those bits you don't want people to see!
Advantages: nice packaging, does get rid of shadows Disadvantages: -
...So I went to the Clinique counter and had a look around I finally found the Airbrush Conceal but there were a choice of four shades. The one I had been given was the lightest of fair but having a tan this was just looking too light for me. So the next one down is Neutral Fair which I ended up going for but I now think I show have bought the 3rd one in Medium as it is dark enough. These concealers don’t seem to differ much in colour; they all seem ... ...the front is the silver Clinique logo indented into the box which is a nice touch. In the pen you get 1.5ml of it which is enough as it is only for covering blemishes etc not foundation. The product is 100% fragrance free and allergy tested and the ingredients are all listed on the side of the box for more detail.
The actual Airbrush pen itself is very nicely designed. Like all Clinique products the pen is the usual light green colour. It has a ...

...I treated myself to 3 Clinique products a) because I wanted to get some decent makeup
b) because Boots were giving away 800 points with 3 purchases.
Still felt a bit guilty spending a total of £50 on makeup but here's hoping it'll last. The Airbrush concealer was £15.00 for a pen-sized tube containing 1.5ml. That's £10.00 PER MILLILITRE! Eek, this better be good! According to Clinique, this product "is a light reflecting makeup must-have. If you order from Clinique.com and join Club Clinique you are eligible for free samples when you order, competitions etc. You may be able to find it cheaper on the internet such as on ebay.

Advantages: Light, easy to apply and blend - it works! Disadvantages: May be too expensive for some.
...apply in one simple step. Clinique coined this little beauty as in airbrush, which is probably getting a little bit carried away, but non the less it's very good. There are other versions of this style of applicator springing up all over the place now - and I'm not sure who was the first company to make it, but another example is Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (which is a cult product I have yet to try!), and I've seen some other cheaper versions ... ...12.5cm long, in the classic Clinique green, with a silver lid and silver writing. At the opposite end from the lid is a twistable piece, which is what allows the product to flow. If you remove the lid you will find a beautifully soft brush with white bristles, like the kind you'd paint a watercolour with. ~How does it work?~
It's very simple. When you first buy the product, the brush is white, clean and free from product - when you come to use it ...

...same under eye concealer from Clinique for years now. So when I breezed through Debenhams a couple of weeks back I was really hoping to be able to pick some up immediately and be on my way without the need for undue scrutiny by one of their sales staff.
No such luck.
I searched and searched and the product I had been buying all this time was simply nowhere in sight. So I had to ask one of the sales assistants for help, darn it.
Sure enough the ... ...so I just asked the Clinique assistant (who had WAY too much make-up on by the way: why oh WHY do they always do that?) what alternatives they had available.
She volunteered this Clinique Airbrush concealer. Fine, think I: I’ll have some. But whoa there cowboy, slow down the horses, this lady has obviously been taught how to sell the stuff so sell it she will - even though I’m already “sold” if you see what I mean!
The product she produces is in ...

Advantages: Feels nice and smooth on the skin Disadvantages: Basically everything - colour and packaging all wrong, expensive
shades would make things better, but I would think that this would get worse as the foundations become darker - and the 'healthy' shade only falls midway in the range.
--Coverage--
Highlights what you want to hide, and is quite difficult to blend. Not great at all.
--Value for money--
For that money, you expect better. Buy No7 or Elizabeth Arden instead. Strangely, though, Clinique's AirbrushConcealer is excellent - which suggests that Clinique's products should only be used in moderation on your face.

Advantages: It will last a very long time. Disadvantages: It's too heavy and didn't really do what it said on the tin.
putting less on, but the finish seems too patchy, as it isn't a very easy product to blend; you have to smooth and pat quite hard, which isn't advisable on the delicate skin around the eye. I'm not the kind of girl who likes to slather my face in make-up, so perhaps this product isn't for me - my eyes end up looking like they don't go with the rest of my face! I personally think that the texture is just too thick and heavy for an eye concealer. I'd prefer to go with something lighter, which has light reflecting properties, rather than this flat, matt concealer.
Also, I think the claim that the product will 'reduce puffiness' is false - I don't see any change in the apparent puffiness of my eyes when using this product.
I used to use the Cliniqueairbrushconcealer on my eyes, which is a much lighter product and because it's in a brush ...
Advantages: Cheap, great value for money, hides unwanted areas well Disadvantages: Can show up a bit too much on skin when it's dry
products. Collection 2000 is known to make many other cosmetic items such as foundations, lipsticks and mascaras. I have used their powder blushes and a few other products in their range and have found they all do a great job. The products are usually quite simply designed with no fancy lettering or images but their message gets across and the company is not without its fans.
HOW DOES IT COMPARE WITH OTHER BRANDS?
Among the dozens of concealing products on the market today this concealer could probably stand with them and do just as good a job. Clinique have their airbrushconcealer, there's the
infamous and widely acclaimed YSL Touche Eclat pen,and then there's L'Oreal's Touche Magique brand. These often expensive and fancy, more well known brands may have the head start in the competition but Collection 2000 is a quiet contender ...
