I'm slightly addicted to beauty products, which is probably the main reason that I'm here; I figure that I could use some of my exciting/disappointing experiences with new products to write some helpful reviews for people!

I brought this product on the recommendation of a girl I know who used to work for Clinique.
I was looking for a product to cover the slight dark circles beneath my eyes, they're not terrible, but adding some concealer around my eyes make me look much brighter. She recommended this concealer to me, because I also get puffy eyes sometimes (I'm slightly allergic to dust) and apparently this concealer will work to reduce puffiness.
I've been using this concealer for around 2 months now and I'm not overly impressed. The concealer is very thick in texture, yet in order to get the coverage required to conceal my dark shadows, I have to put quite a substantial layer on to the eye area - which ends up looking fake. The concealer doesn't leave me with a natural-looking finish, if anything my eyes end up looking too bright. I've tried putting less on, but the finish seems too patchy, as it isn't a very easy product to blend; you have to smooth and pat quite hard, which isn't advisable on the delicate skin around the eye. I'm not the kind of girl who likes to slather my face in make-up, so perhaps this product isn't for me - my eyes end up looking like they don't go with the rest of my face! I personally think that the texture is just too thick and heavy for an eye concealer. I'd prefer to go with something lighter, which has light reflecting properties, rather than this flat, matt concealer.
Also, I think the claim that the product will 'reduce puffiness' is false - I don't see any change in the apparent puffiness of my eyes when using this product.
I used to use the Clinique airbrush concealer on my eyes, which is a much lighter product and because it's in a brush form, it's a lot easier to apply. I'm thinking of going back to this now!
Having said all this, if you did buy this product and found that it worked for you, then I think it'd be pretty good value for money, because a tiny bit of it does cover a large area. The product seems itself seems like it is high quality and the packaging is simple and looks nice (little clear tube, silver lid).
Also, I should mention that I use it for covering other imperfections on my face sometimes and it's quite good for this, although again, very heavy, so better for a nightime look than day to day make up.
If this product worked and was pleasant to use, then I wouldn't really object to having paid £15 for it, but unfortunately, due to its poor performance I do not think it is very good value for money.
I wouldn't buy this product again, but then I probably won't need to because I think this one little tube will last forever!!
