I am quite pale and my eyes are a bit light sensitive, so in addition to getting VERY fine over 30 lines about the eye, I battle dark circles and that nasty tired eyes feeling from sun strain.
I have tried using various concealers for the dark circles. Imagine my delight when a friend recommended this cream to me and I tried a sample. It not only felt cool and velvety as it glided on, refreshing my tired eyes, but minutes later, it had reduced the dark circles and after about a week I noticed I did not see any teeny tiny lines about my eyes either. Woohoo! Now I only have to use my regular foundation and I do not look like I have been punched in the eyes. :)
After using up the sample tube, which lasted weeks as you only need a tiny drop, I went and purchased a pot of this. It costs about £20, and looks like a very small pot for £20. But, as I said, you only need a teeny dot of it, as it is very thick, and glides over the eye area. So, I gingerly put in my finger, and had enough to do both eyes, top and bottom. A pot has lasted me about 6 months. That's right, 6 months. As I got used to using the pot, I managed to not waste so much so it has extended the life of the pot. I also use it only about once a day unless we are going out so if you use it twice a day, it will most likely only last about 3 months or so.
If you keep an eye open (no pun intended) Clinique often run offers where you can get free samples, or get freebies when you buy X amount, so it is worth looking about for their special offers. Another thing to keep in mind is Boots stock Clinique and you can load up on Advantage points when purchasing! I have been so impressed witht his product, I have since also purchased loads of their other products, which also last months and months, so it actually works out cheaper than some of the errrr...cheap stuff. LOL
Now I have very sensitive skin as well, and am a contact lense wearer, and I can honestly say this product has not irritated my delicate eye area at all and except for the one time I actually got some in my eye as in on my eyeball (don't ask), it has never stung. So, except for having to outlay £20 for 6 months worth all in one go, this is a truly great purchase!
