I bought this eye cream (£20) because I'd heard so much about it from a friend and needed something to depuff my eyes after endless nights of revision for exams!
The packaging is really cute;-pink see-thru tub with a nice silver screw-on lid. It's the same design as the Anti-Gravity eye cream (see my op) and they're both great for carting off on holiday with you. As I said the Anti-Gravity eye cream was suitable for night-time, this is the day-time version.
It's light-weight gel/cream formula. When I first tried this I noticed that it immediately sunk into my skin and left a really velvety effect, making my tired eye area feel lovely! It's basically a version of the Estee Lauder Idealist for your eyes (which I'm obsessed with!). I can't actually emphasise the softness this leaves on your skin! It makes a great day eye cream/make up base, which is what i use it for, because it leaves a mattified effect, so eye-make up doesn't slide around (...as it does?!). It also leaves a very smmoth effect and feeling around your eyes and moisturises it too, but without residue. It claims on the label to hold make-up in place, and I've found this to be true.
However, it didn't really help with my puffiness, fine lines and bags (as it claims to), which was the initial reason why I bought this for-i think only sleep and cold eye patches can do that! (Under-eye surgery?) I'm glad I bought it though, because it's one of the best day-time eye cream I've ever used, in the feeling it creates and the aforementioned make-up issues! It lasts for quite a long time too-best part of a tear, even if you use it every day.
This costs £20 for 15ml, which could be considered to be quite pricey, but I've found that most eye creams cost around this much, and I do highly recommend this as a day-time eye cream, especially if you wear eye-make up.
