The Product
The cream is very slightly gel-like in consistency, but is oil-free (and fragrance free) and slightly yellow in colour. It is designed to be used both over and under the eye to help strengthen the skin and remove fine lines and shadows. Daily use is recommended, with a day and night application ... ...into the skin.
The cream comes in just one size, 15ml tubes, which can range in price from £18 on the high street, to £25 in department stores and on-line stores. As mentioned, this is a very specialist area of skincare, so you will have to pay for the benefits!!

Like many people nowadays I spend all day staring at a computer screen or mobile display, and on the days when I'm let out of the office, at a busy road or a Sat Nav screen. All of these were starting to leave their mark on my eyes - getting a constant "gritty" feeling by the end of the day and, most alarmingly, leading to increasingly noticeable fine lines and discolouration of the skin around my eyes.
I decided to try to correct this problem by getting myself some eye gel or cream, thinking that any old moisturiser would do, but I quickly found that I'd wandered into a very specialist area of skincare, where many products are available, at alarming prices. Whilst buying my after shave at a local Clinique counter I noticed their "All About Eyes" product and decided to give it a try.
The Product
The cream is very slightly gel-like in consistency, but is oil-free (and fragrance free) and slightly yellow in colour. It is designed to be used both over and under the eye to help strengthen the skin and remove fine lines and shadows. Daily use is recommended, with a day and night application advised, so the cream is very light and easily absorbed into the skin.
The cream comes in just one size, 15ml tubes, which can range in price from £18 on the high street, to £25 in department stores and on-line stores. As mentioned, this is a very specialist area of skincare, so you will have to pay for the benefits!!
Useability
Given the price, and size of the tube, it is very important to avoid wastage. Whilst the tube itself can be a little fiddly (it's about the size of a thumb) the dispensing nozzle tends to remain fairly clog free, allowing smooth squeezing from the tube.
Thankfully, a little of this cream really does go a long way with an amount about the size of half a finger nail being enough to cover both eyes.
The Results
Most importantly, the results of using this product were fantastic.
Immediately upon usage my eyes felt fresher as the cream has a good cooling and soothing effect. In a very sensitive area there was no irritation or stinging at all, so my eyes felt very "refreshed".
Longer term, there was a visible reduction in the small lines that I had noticed after using the cream for a couple of weeks. My eyes felt, and looked, fresher and more relaxed, with the shadowing that was coming through disappearing completely!!
I would thoroughly recommend this product, although be wary of the price, which is what leads me to the rating of "good", rather than "excellent". It seems to be an area where you certainly "get what you pay for", with Boots and the Body Shop offering general creams of the same size at around £7, whilst the more exclusive Cellex C under eye toning gel(!!) can cost £32 for 10ml!!
