Specially designed for persistent face redness & blotchiness Treats flare-ups caused by diet, temperature, emotions or external factors Reduces redness & discomfort after one week from clinical tests
Advantages: An excellent product and works for my unpredictable skin!! Disadvantages: Very expensive and lack of availability
...I log on to the Clinique website (www.clinique.co.uk) from time to time in search of offers, competitions or any new items being added to the range. Last month I discovered the CliniqueCX range on the website and was very interested in trying the Soothing Moisturizer ……..well that’s until I saw the price!! £60 for 50ml seemed very expensive!!.
Firstly I must point out that the CX products are currently exclusive to Harrods. There are 3 products currently in the range, those being Rapid Recovery Cream, Soothing Moisturizer and RednessReliefCream. Today I shall be reviewing the Soothing Moisturizer.
So as I have already mentioned this item is exclusive to Harrods. Not much good if you don’t live in London. I so wanted to try this but was not prepared to pay postage costs on top of the cost of the item. It’s not as if I could...

Advantages: Lasts a long time, it really does remove dead skin cells Disadvantages: A little pricey
...I was given a sample tube of 7 day scrub cream in one of the clinique bonus packs and it is one of the best freebies that I have tried. It really does exfoliate, I have tried a lot of so-called exfoliators in my time but this does get rid of the dead skin cells. It leaves my face feeling extrememly smooth and very clean. My foundation literally glides on once I have used the 7 day scrub. When using it I rub it over my closed lips also as it is brilliant for removing dry skin on the lips too. It costs £13.95 but does last a long time and helps to avoid blocked pores which lead to blackheads. My skin has felt and looked at its best since using this product. I am a clinique fan but only buy things that do work, and this does work....

Advantages: Cleared my cracked lips up within three days of use Disadvantages: Tiny tube...I wish it was larger
...'Blistex reliefcream is a medicated lip cream that can be used for treating occasional cold sores, cracked, chapped and sore lips.'
The above is what is says on the packaging..... and It truely DOES do what it says on the tin. This is a nice and simple no frills product.
So now you know what it says it does... I'll explain to you my personal experiences of the product.
I have a very bad habit of licking my lips. This happens when I am stressed, concentrating for long periods of time, or working really hard under pressure. What normally happens is this.... I lick my lips then I dry them... with my sleeve, hand, tissue etc. I lick them again, then dry them....the lips become dry and cracked from this constant fussing, and the more dry and cracked they become, the more I need to lick them. By the end of a day of licking...

I bought this product because I needed extra moisturising for my skin. My skin is a combination type, with quite an oily forehead area but also I have some dry areas on my cheeks - which my main moisturising cream was not helping.
The product costs £27... more
