Advantages: Doesn't cause break outs, feels and looks good, Is oil free, easy to apply, accurate shades Disadvantages: can need reapplying after 6 - 8 hours, some people might be put off by price
I had never used a clinique powder before this one but i am certainly very happy with it. It makes yours skin feel so even and smooth and luxurious, it's well worth paying a bit more money because the cheaper brand powders don't compare. I don't think i would ever change from clinique now. What makes this particular product so great is it doesn't irritate skin or cause break outs (which i really suffer from), it's easy to apply using a brush or sponge as it's quite light making it easy to build up the layers and colour. The shades are also quite accurate to natural skin colour, i use 02 'Stay neutral' for light skin and thats perfect for my skin tone.
I would 100% recommend this product to anyone! ...
Advantages: Doesn't cause breakouts, protects skin against sun damage Disadvantages: Not that easy to spread over the skin
CliniqueCityBlock has been a godsend to me with my blemish-prone skin. Most other moisturisers with spf or sunblocks give me breakouts, however once I tried cityblock I haven't looked back. It provides an ideal base for make up and makes it longer lasting. It can also be used in the eye area without making eye make up crease and run. I've been using it for the last 5 years and most people are surprised to hear that I'm 31, so it must be doing something to protect my skin against sun and pollution damage. My only criticism is that it's difficult to spread on the skin due to it's texture, and doesn't last as long as I would like. However it's still good value for money and would be my desert island must have. ...
Advantages: Brilliant at protecting your face from the suns damage Disadvantages: Possible transference of tint onto clothing at the neck
My dermatologist recommended this product, as I suffer with PMLE (Polymorphic Light Eruption), which in laymans terms, is a type of allergic reaction caused by sunlight.
I started using it in 2006, and have not looked back. I put it all over my face and neck, after washing in the morning, basically I have spf 60 protection all day long from uva and uvb rays.
I only need to reapply if I've been swimmning or exercising.
This sunscreen is tan in colour, but once on the skin, its sheer. It has a matt formula, and oilfree base, so its great if you want to apply makeup or a mosituriser over it, which I do.
The packaging states this is a good choice for those with acne prone skin.
The only downside for me, is that I've noticed some of the colour rubbing off my neck onto clothing. Since I dont wear white (this colour allows too much ...
