Clinique is a product I've always trusted, it's an offshoot of Estee Lauder which instantly gives it the seal of approval from me! It was founded in 1968 and aimed to cater for individual women's needs and customize to each skin type! Thumbs up for effort then!

This packaging is a little more glamourous than I'd normally expect from Clinique - 4/5 (would have been 5 except for the annoying lid!)

I am addicted to any moisturising product, I just adore that feeling of totally soft and smooth skin that you only get all day with a really decent moisturiser. And that's why I'm going to take it upon myself to introduce you all to the world of Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter - a godsend!
Clinique is a product I've always trusted, it's an offshoot of Estee Lauder which instantly gives it the seal of approval from me! It was founded in 1968 and aimed to cater for individual women's needs and customize to each skin type! Thumbs up for effort then!
* PACKAGING * As with all Clinique products the packaging is fairly simple, it's a party opaque but partly frosted pot with a silver lid. The silver lid is a screw lid which I've often found is not the easiest to un-do with greasy or wet hands! Clinique is embossed in silver on the front as well as the product name. This packaging is a little more glamourous than I'd normally expect from Clinique - 4/5 (would have been 5 except for the annoying lid!)
* APPEARANCE/CONSISTENCY * Upon tempting out a little of the body butter I discovered it's a white/cream colour, similar in a sense to the colour of the tube. The consistency of the body butter is quite thick, if you were to squeeze out a blob and turn your hand upside down the cream would not run nor would it fall off - 4/5 (a little too thick maybe)
* SMELL * It claims to be 100% fragrance free but as with everything around us today there's always a smell. There's no hint of perfume at all but there is a very weak scent of coffee if that makes sense? Very weak however! Quite plain smelling though, once applied to the skin you can't really smell it - 4/5 (great for those who want a plain product but I prefer a little scent)
* ABSORBANCY/APPLICATION * A very small amount is needed, due to the thickness a little body butter will go a long way and I often find it quite hard to rub it all in completly so that no white marks are left on the skin when the cream is still sitting on the surface. With regard to absorbancy, as long as it's rubbed in well it will absorb within about 1 minute and does not have a greasy effect on skin or clothing at all - 3/5 (a little too much rubbing in required)
* EFFECT * It's very moisturising - that's the thing that springs to mind first, my skin really feels much smoother and supple as soon as I've applied this. The other thing is it's long lasting, in the olden days when any old supermarket shelved moisturiser would do I often found that within a couple of hours you couldn't even tell I had moisturiser on, however with this even when applied in the morning, your skin will still feel moisturised and firm at night. There's no real extra bonuses with this, it's not a sun protector, nor is it anti-ageing, here you just have a plain old intensive moisturiser at best - 5/5 (couldn't ask for more moisturised skin)
* PRICE * I got my first tube in a free sample pack from my Clinique counter but have since found that a 200ml tube will set you back around £19.50 from Boots, I'm still on my first one and use it about 2-3 times weekly all over my body and have had it for over 3 months now, I'd say with average application (like me) it'll last a good 5 months - 4/5 (a little pricey but worth it in my opinion)
So it's up to you to make up your mind now! My results give it 20/25 so overall it'd get a very good rating from me!
...this as part of a Clinique pack-the body moisturiser and exfoliator, for £36.50. This on it's own costs £19.50. It comes in a large, easy access, round 200ml tub, with a silver lid so that you take out as much cream as is needed. The tub is plastic and partially see-through, so there's a yellow colour showing through. I think that this is quite light (being a plastic tub), and therefore can be taken travelling on holiday with you.
This product claims ... ...I think that this should last for about a year, or even longer, because a little goes a long way with this product and none goes to waste! This is especially effective when used with the Clinique body exfoliator...just a tip!
This is available at all Clinique counters ...

...lotion from a brand like Clinique because I think they are far too expensive for something that isn't going on your face, and doesn't really need to be good quality. I've looked into it and it is £13.50 for a 200ml bottle if you were to buy it from the official Clinique site.
===Packaging=== To be honest I'm not that keen on the packaging (which is the same on the sample bottle as the full sized) I usually like the clean, simple look of Clinique ... ...and almost dated looking. It is an odd dusty yellow colour with black block lettering. The bottle works fine though and it doesn't all come pouring out too fast like some other bottles. ===The Moisturiser=== To begin with I thought I was going to like it…it came out and I realised it was really thick, a bit like the body shop body butter I have tried. But when I started rubbing it in I realised it was a bit too thick. I suppose this would be good ...

Advantages: Really smooth, non-greasy and easily absorbed... Disadvantages: But very expensive for what it is. There are cheaper and better alternatives!!!
...to be standing at the Clinique counter in Boots when you get them! I went shopping on Saturday for a present for my friend, and had decidided to buy her some lovely Clinique things as she's just bought a house and is too poor at the moment to treat herself. So there I am, trying in vain to remember the names of the products I know she likes, with the very posh Clinique lady staring open eyed at me like I have my glasses on upside down, as I describe ... ...the same as most other Clinique products - natural and understated and completely chemical free.
The cream itself which is very slightly off-white/cream is very thick and does have the consistency of firm butter, but gladly none of the grease! I've been using it on my hands and tummy, and it disapears into my skin remarkably quickly, with not a hint of oiliness and nothing but smooth, hydrated skin left behind. The small amount I received in a tube ...

Advantages: Leaves skin hydrated and soft Disadvantages: Best bought in the tube not the tub
I was given a trial selection including this product for Christmas the other year ('04), I threw some stuff away but have found I can't live without this body butter. I suffer quite a bit in the winter with the cold and windy weather drying out certain sections on my face especially being a horse and dog owner I'm constantly outdoors, and the heating doesn't help either. I was using Vaseline to try and combat the problem but this stuff is genius. ... ...found out after applying a huge dollop and having a tacky/sticky feeling face for about an hour) because the consistency is quite thick which makes it value for money if you're going to splash out and get a tub (prices range from £19.50 to £22.00). In Boots they only seem to stock the tubs which if you're trying to negotiate the lid after a shower or bath would be slightly annoying, I found the tube much easier as you don't have to fiddle with the ...
