I bought this sun block last summer when the weather was very hot. I have problems with my nose and the tips of my ears burning. I love clinique products and I was not diappointed by this one. The sun block smells great and has a soft creamy texture. The packaging is very smart and stylish. I had no more problems with sunburn and my skin was left feeling silky soft but not greasy. I often find with sunblock that my skin is left greasy and spot prone but thiswas not the case with this product. I find the product to be reasonably priced and excellnat value for mone as you do not need a lot. I will be using thisproduct again when I holiday this year and would reccomed it to anyone ...

A must to protect your skin!

Advantages: protects skin and make-up lasts longer
Disadvantages: a bit expensive

The name for this may suggest that you should only use this product if you're in the city, but it is ideal for any time you want to protect your skin from the sun. I bought this instead of the spf 25 version of City Block because I spend a lot of time outside doing gardening and want to protect my skin now the sun's a bit stronger. It is light, completely oil-free, and has a slightly 'sheenier' quality than the City Block spf25, so it gives a lovely glow to my skin. It is tinted so when I apply it after my moisturiser, it evens out my skin tone and I have no need for any foundation. It also helps my make-up stay put all day. I have used City Block for years and it has always protected my skin extremely well, with absolutely no sunburn. I wear it all year round, and feel my skin looks younger for it. Clinique City Block

Advantages: Doesn't cause breakouts, protects skin against sun damage
Disadvantages: Not that easy to spread over the skin

Clinique City Block has been a godsend to me with my blemish-prone skin. Most other moisturisers with spf or sunblocks give me breakouts,however once I tried city block I haven't looked back. It provides an ideal base for make up and makes it longer lasting. It can also be used in the eye area without making eye make up crease and run. I've been using it for the last 5 years and most people are surprised to hear that I'm 31, so it must be doing something to protect my skin against sun and pollution damage. My only criticism is that it's difficult to spread on the skin due to it's texture, and doesn't last as long as I would like. However it's still good value for money and would be my desert island must have. ...
