*Why I love it*
The bottle that I bought contains 125ml of moisturiser, and although I bought this some time in December 2005, my first bottle only ran out a couple of days ago. This means that it lasted for over 14 months, which makes the £26 price tag seem less steep. At slightly less than £2 per month, this is definitely worth my money.
As I said, I don't really have dry skin, and even when my face is oily this moisturiser still seems to work well. The bottle I bought doesn't come with a pump (though some do, at a charge of an extra £1, for easier access), so I just turn the bottle upside down for a second, then open it the right way up (obviously) and a small amount of moisturiser is left in the lid. I do this because the amount left in the lid is the perfect amount that I use on my face, and also because as soon as you've used a lot of the bottle its hard to get your finger in to get more moisturiser out.
I only have to apply a little bit and my face feels instantly smoother, and any dry or flakey skin looks instantly like normal soft skin. I find that this moisturiser is especially useful in the start of winter, as the change in temperature gives me chapped lips and dry flakey skin in patches, though when I use this after exfoliating my skin looks normal again. Also in summer, as i have naturally pale skin which burns on suggestion of sun, I am thankful that i have this product at hand. Even when my skin is red, sore and flaking (lovely I know, but thats the price I pay for having red hair and pale skin), this moisturiser soothes my skin and adds lost moisture, and works much better than normal after-sun.
My bottle that recently ran out (though was instantly replaced because I can't live without this stuff) probably would have lasted longer if I hadn't used so much in summer, but even though I used copious amounts for about 3 months and enough each day in other seasons, this still lasted for an impressively long time.
*Packaging/pricing/extra*
The two times that I've bought this product I have gotten it in a 125ml bottle which is a cuboid shape with a metal cylindrical lid. It comes in a green box that just fits the bottle, with the name of the product on and the clinique logo, as well as information about the product in 5 different languages (English, French, German, Spanish and Italian). The RRP is £26 (£20.80 per 100ml). You can also buy this in a 50ml for £15, but since this is £30 for 100ml you would be better off buying the bigger sized bottle. You can also buy a 50ml tube version of this for the same price. If you would prefer to buy this moisturiser in a bottle with a pump then 125ml costs £27 (£21.60 per 100ml), but best value of all is the 200ml bottle which costs £35 (£17.50 per 100ml). However I don't really want a pump on the bottle, so I'll stick with the 125ml sized bottles.
Information about this product and pictures of the containers you can buy it in can be found at http://www.clinique.co.uk/templates/products/3step_prod.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CA T3099&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1064
*Conclusion*
I love this moisturiser and swear by it. It is recommended to be used after Clinique Facial soap and then Clarifying Lotion, but I use it without either and have had no problems. I would recommend that you just use it as part of your normal skin care routine, and apply it when you would normally apply moisturiser.

...my expectations the way that Clinique does. I was given the Clinique bug in my late teens, at first I thought why spend so much money on a particular brand when there are cheaper ones out there that must be just as good. I became loyal to the Clinique brand when I got married, (best thing about getting married, discovering Clinique properly, my relationship with Clinique lasted longer too) I purchased all their products for my wedding day however ... ...back on that decision.

I enjoy the product; Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. I have been using this product consistently for the past year. I feel that it is a great moisturizer and works particularly well in collaboration with with other Clinique daily products. It smoothes my skin and prevents dry skin, I particularly use it on my face. The smell is average, it does not particularly smell perfumed but for a face lotion it is a desired smell. ...that it didn't last too long, probably around 3 months. Advantages: Brilliant product Disadvantages: Very expensive
If you are having any problems with dry or sensitive skin beg for a sample of DramaticallyDifferent. I have literally tried out almost every moisturiser in Boots in the hope of finding something that wouldn't dry my skin out or cause it to go blotchy and fall off. This moisturiser is brilliant. Most moisturisers for dry skin tend to resemble a tub of lard, but this actually manages to moisturise your skin without making it go all shiny. I haven't had any reactions to it either. The only thing I do react to is the price of it (which gives me heart failure) especially as it doesn't last that long. The bottle is also a complete nightmare. You'd think the boffins at Clinique could have designed a squeezable bottle or a pump dispenser. Oh, and if you do have dry/sensitive skin don't be tempted to try the toner which resembles paint stripper. ...
Advantages: Fairly reasonably priced and has good offers at times Disadvantages: Is not a brilliant skincare moisturizer, especially for dry skins
I used to use clinique over 15 years ago, but stopped due to it not addressing my skin issues (I don't know why I decided to give it another go-probably couldn't resist the offer in boots as well as double points!)
The clinique assistant was very friendly and explained the application procedure clearly. The main point was that the toner should only be swept once across face, and the cream used sparingly.
Unfortunately, this did not work well for my skin; inl fact, I believed it became even drier. I continued using it over 2 and a half weeks- still no improvement.
When I went back to the store to ask for advice, I was told that the moisturizer is just a simple cream and that I would need to apply a richer cream on top to get the results I wanted!
That made my decision-i will use the much better skincare I used a year ago..at least ...
Advantages: Nice packaging, nice creamy texture Disadvantages: Doesn't really "triple" moisturise as promised, price tag
into the skin. There is a very slight scent to the product slightly camomile ish and ever so slightly clinical - like all Clinique products there are no artificial fragrances added.
However, I am going to have to go against the grain here and say that I just don't see the "triple moisturising" effect that this claims to achieve - it certainly does moisturise, I'm not disputing that, but I don't see that it does a better job than the far cheaper Oil of Olay Total Effects I was using before. I've been using this now for about 7 months so have given it a good try, but I just don't see the effects to warrant shelling out on this again. Having been disappointed by Clinique's moisturisers before (DramaticallyDifferentMoisturisingLotion - made me break out in spots, so in that sense, yes, I suppose it was dramaticallydifferent!) I think I ...
