Scent: It is fragrance free which is great ... ...a green plastic waterproof holder which is great for taking on trips away from home and for storing in your bathroom so it does not get too messy.
Use: Just run it under the tap or wet your hands and rub on your skin. Then rub on your skin and wash off with water.
Ease of use: Excellent
How good is it: It clears your skin really well and leaves it feeling smooth and clean. It even removes make up. more

...be skin typed by a clinique consultant before just going to buy it. That could be why there are some bad results with it. But also remember that the soap is Step 1 in the three step regiment and it should be used with all three steps. That's why they call it Three step. They don't call it "how many steps you want" step. With that being said: Clinique soap is great when used like it is supposed to.You need to stick with it for at least 2 months to ... ...Lotion all over their face which can cause breakouts. DDML is meant only to be used on dry areas of the skin, as DDML contains mineral oil. Sorry to be preachy but Clinique works if used properly. Ask a Clinique consultant to completly explain things, they are trained very well. ...

The computer recommended I try the mild liquid cleanser, mild clarifying lotion and dramatically different moisturiser. I opted to buy the full size cleanser and get the clarifying lotion and moisturiser as the free samples.
After using the cleanser for a few weeks I found it wasn't making any difference to the dryness on my face and decided when it ran out to try the next one down in the range the extramild. Liquid facialsoap is part one the cleanser, Part two is the toner and part three the moisturiser. I'm not the most disciplined of people so tend to just stick to the Cleanse and Moisturise steps.
There are three different types of Cliniquefacialsoap, extramild, mild and Oily. Extramild should be used on very dry skin. Mild or normal to dry skin and Oily, for of course oily skin. The product I am reviewing is the mild liquid soap. The soap comes in a 200ml sturdy plastic bottle which is a perspex green colour with the clinique logo across the front. It has a pump dispenser which dispenses a 2 pence sized amount with each Pump. The soap is completely fragrance free and colour free and looks like clear gel. It is also allergy tested.

Clinique Liquid FacialSoap is step 1 in the clinique "3 step skin care system". It's availabe in formulas for all skin types; Very dry to dry, dry combination, oily combination, oily, mild, and now extramild aswell.
As with all Clinique products, the facialsoap too, is 100% fragrance free, and allergy tested.
The liquid soap cleanses and prepares the skin for step 2 and 3, which are exfoliating/toning, and moisturising.
It's priced at around £13.00, and is available in portable tubes of 50ml or a pump dispenser containing 200ml or 400ml.
The packaging for the product itself is an opaque shade of green with the distinct clinique logo in silver. The portable tubes are plastic with "flip-lid" caps, but the main product, is the pump dispenser, which is again opaque green or blue for the "extra-mild" formula.
