The Clinique Glosswear for Lips Shimmers Set is a set of lip glosses that comes packaged in a cool clear hard plastic case. I received these for a present and was very excited by their appearance- I was very pleased!
You get five lip glosses in the pack in a range of different colours: Crystal, Sunset, Sunshine, Whisper and Mystic. This does not tell you very much about the actual colours of the glosses as I am sure you will agree. The thing is though when you apply the gloss to your lips I found that regardless of which colour gloss you use, your lips do not actually vary that much in colour. The gloss does however, gives a nice shine and a healthy look to your lips. I would say that the glosses probably accentuate your natural lip colour.
The problem with these lip glosses is that I have found them to be rather sticky. I know that this is true of most lip glosses and us women face the problem in windy weather of our hair sticking to our lips daily. Worse than finding the lip gloss sticky when it is on, I am really aware of it bein there- it is like it is quite heavy or thick I suppose. It is not the kind of lip gloss you apply for shine and forget about- this has got worse the longer I have owned the them (i'm not sure if it has anything to do with the air reacting with it once opened). Whilst wearing it I can feel it on my lips, it is not uncomfortable or anything like that, but just rather strange and I would prefer this not to be the case- it makes me want to wipe it off!
The bottles of gloss themselves are of miniture size compared with some other products by Clinique- I am not sure how many mls they are as the writing has rubbed of my glosses. I would take a guess at 10mls. Despite them being quite small they last for ages and are nice size to put in your bag or pocket when you go out.
Like I said I got these for a present so am unsure of the exact cost, but from what I can gather you can get this set for about £10. This is great value for Clinique products which are normally very pricey. The thing is though the products are only okay in my opinion and are not up to the usual standard of Clinique. For this reason I would not say that they are good value.
I grab a gloss on my way out sometimes just so that if I need to I can give my lips a bit of shine quickly. It does not last long though as I am bound to wipe it off. I would not buy them myself or recommend them to others, but as I own them already I will continue to use them and yes wipe it off. Silly really, but waste not want not and all that.

I hate when your hair sticks in your lip gloss - but like you I hate throwing things out and would use them anyway!!! I mormally like the clinique products too.... Good review, Caroline xx

I hate gloss when ur hair blows into ur face then u pull it back and end up with a glossy stripe running up ur cheek... what a pain!! xx
