BADGE IS HAPPY TO GO BACK TO THE CLINIQUE......
Advantages: Smells gorgeous, fairly cheap, long lasting. Disadvantages: Foul bottle, stings like a bitch when applied.

Oval in shape, the overall first impression was "eurgh" but the looks were indeed deceiving.
On removing the lid I was greeted with a fruity citrus ... ...collection.

It was one of those fragrances my girlfriend loved the smell of and ultimately was wrapped and thrust into my hand! Coming in an orange card box, the bottle (as seen above) looks horrid! Oval in shape, the overall first impression was "eurgh" but the looks were indeed deceiving.
On removing the lid I was greeted with a fruity citrus aroma that reminded me more of a bowl of oranges (hence the colour of the bottle I'd say) and upon inspecting the notes, this is marketed as a refreshing masculine scent made from a blend of lemons, mandarins, oranges and grapefruit and is recommended for day wear around the office.
Taking the blend of ingredients into account it wasn't surprising that my first impression of the fragrance was one of a very acidic, fresh and citrus aroma. As stated earlier, the overbearing initial fragrance is oranges, but once applied it fades quickly and after around 30 minutes the entire fragrance is subtle, the grapefruit begins to stand out over the other ingredients. Over the course of the day, the grapefruit fades and lemon and oranges are again the predominant fragrances. This is not what I would call a masculine aftershave, but it is still lovely.
I can't stress enough how subtle this is. Without actually sniffing at area's I had sprayed I wouldn't have known I was wearing this. Saying that however, it is a sign of a good quality aftershave and that it has blended well with your skin when the wearer can't actually smell it.
Bearing in mind I couldn't smell this after an hour you would think that quite a large amount of the aftershave would be needed for a day in the office. You'd be wrong, three to four sprays from the 50ml bottle is all that is needed for well over 12 hours of smelling gorgeous.
At under £20 for 50ml, this is a real bargain and is an ideal stocking filler for that man in your life. Available at Boots, Rackhams, Debenhams or most online retailers this is one fragrance not to be missing from a collection.

The only faults I could find with this fragrance were the actual bottle design which to this day looks completely out of place. It is neither unique nor pleasing to the eye and after shaving this stings like no other aftershave I own. I put this down to the actual citrus ingredients, but it is seriously sore for a few minutes after applying.
Taking everything into account, and the fact that the girlfriend can't keep her hands off me when wearing this, I have to give it the thumbs up.

Advantages: mmmmmm, nice and sexy! Disadvantages: Watch out for the lid!
This is another ferry duty free purchase from when me and my bloke went to Ireland for the weekend. I got this on the way back from Ireland on Sunday. We were left with some Euro's although I'm not sure how because we spent loads of money!
I had smelt this aftershave previous to seeing it on the ferry, and I thought it was lovely. I liked the womens version of this, but I had always thought it was a bit expensive, well to buy for myself anyway!
... ...when I told him I thought it was nice. You should have seen the struggle to get the lid off, and then when he did manage to pull it off, most of it dribbled down the arm of his jacket! The smell of this stuff is really nice, it smells fresh and clean, but also nice enough to smell like aftershave and not just soap. It has a citrus kick to it, and it's cool and crisp. I like it when a man smells clean so this is a big hit in my eyes. This is a refreshing ...

...store in Birmingham, by a Clinique representative armed with "Happy", but was pleasantly surprised not to be overcome by the fumes and forced to seek fresh air!
Happy has a fresh, fairly light, fragrance which is based on a citrus theme with oranges and lemons to the fore. Despite this lightness, it is very long lasting, with a morning spray lasting all day. I would suggest that it is more of a daytime fragrance rather than evening "wear", but it ... ...preferred.
The citrus base would suggest that Happy lends itself to being a Summer "outdoors" fragrance, but this is certainly not the case as it is robust enough to be worn if staying indoors, and is definitely not too overpowering for people around you.
The Eau de Toilette is available in 2 sizes - 50ml and 100ml. Both sizes are very widely available now, I've seen it recently in Boots, Debenhams and supermarkets on their fragrance counter, whereas ...

Advantages: Fresh Crisp Smell, not sickly or heavy by any means. Disadvantages: Pricey compared to Old Spice.
...but I do slap on Clinique Happy for Men when I go out on the pull!
This fragrance is a fragrance and in no way an aftershave in Brut “Splash It all Over” or Old Spice “Hey you smell like my dad” terms. It is a refreshing modern fragrance for men and I say “why not wear something that gives you the edge!"
This product is wonderful. It comes in a small orange bottle and is administered by a fine spray. It does not smell like perfume, it has a fresh ... ...it will taste pretty poor in Tea.
It is remarkably different from the usual type of aftershaves that I wear and I must admit to being surprised when my wife bought it for me. But I like the smell and so does my wife. I have never had anyone complain about the smell therefore from that I can assume that the smell does not offend. Oh I remember the “High Karate” days, the girls would gag at the local Youth Club Disco when you made your move.

I came across this wonderful fragrance while trying to pick a gift out for a guy... Guys don't start jumping about to puchase this one yet because I could never really approve of a man smelling the way Clinique's Happy for men does...
I wanted this fragrance for myself. Unfortunately it was all sold out. That seems to tell you soemting about its popularity doesn't it. After asking around with a few of my Gal pals... i found out that some of them ... ...thing is that all of us agreed that Clinique's Happy for men smelt so much better than the fragrance for women. It was fruitier, with a brighter zang to it and it felt a lot happier too. I have no idea why it is a men's frangrance instead of a women's one because it smelt a lot more feminine too!
It comes in the same shape(almost) as Happy for women although t is a little wider and has a much brighter colour going for it ORANGE. the smaller bottle ...

Hopefully, you readers will now have realised that I have no problem at all admitting to my daily skincare regime, and publicly reviewing the results of my product usage. I feel that it's important for us men to look after ourselves and, as I say to my other half, I don't get to look this good without effort!!!
However, this regime can be expensive, and fraught with danger in the pursuit of the perfect product (am I thinking about this TOO much?), and one of the major catastrophes along the way has been to buy a bottle of this CliniqueHappy for Men After Shave Balm. I love "Happy", it's my favourite fragrance, but this just didn't work!!
